But I’ll have to fire a trial shot to determine its characteristics and range.” Upon hearing this, Adrian found a metal slab on the deck and said to Casey, “Get a glow stick and tie it to the metal slab before you pass it to me.” Casey was stunned upon hearing this. He hastily asked, “Theo, what’s going on with the both of you? Is Ms. Sia skilled in operating a sniper rifle?” The captain and the others were astonished. They were under the assumption that the rifle was meant for Adrian. They were not expecting Gloria to wield it. “Sia’s a professional. Go get what I asked for,” said Adrian. Casey did not delay any longer and did as he was told. The captain asked, “What’s your plan, Mr. Theo? Can we defeat the pirates with just a rifle?” Adrian explained, “Our only option is to kill the pirate boss, then kill their captain. This is the only way.” The crew inhaled sharply upon hearing Adrian’s words. That would be very difficult to accomplish, almost impossible. Even if the ship was completely still, it would be extremely difficult to kill the leader with just a sniper rifle, not to mention they were now moving. Casey got the things that Adrian requested.
