Yacht Party
Carroll patted me on the back and sneered. "You're like the big wolf."
"I... Ugh."
Just as I was about to retort, my stomach churned again.
If I didn't digest well, I should be vomiting the food last night.
Unfortunately, my digestion function was very good, and I could only spit out sour water.
After throwing up, I dragged the railing and fell onto the deck.
Carroll handed me a cup of warm water and said, "Rinse your mouth, and then go in and lie down for a while."
"Oh."
At this time, my face was as pale as paper.
My legs were sore and weak, and I was carried into the bedroom like a puddle of mud by Carroll.
He opened the drawer of the bedside table and took out something like a double-sided tape.
He pulled my head and stuck two to my ears.
I didn't have the Jason to resist and let him do it.
During this period of time, I seemed to have eaten two pieces of bitter small pills.
Carroll tucked me in, rubbed my head, and said, "You know that you're seasick, but you still want to go out to sea. It's true that kids don't have very smart minds."
"I... don't."
As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw the shaking ceiling and felt dizzy.
It was uncomfortable.
"You got it this time?" Carroll's tone was clearly a bit distressed.
But more of it was sarcasm.
I nodded numbly. I didn't want to say another word, so I wanted to go back as soon as possible and return to the flat ground that made me feel secure.
I didn't know how long it took, but I was awakened by the roaring music.
It seemed that my head was not so dizzy.
Getting up from the bed, I found that Carroll was sitting in the living room, enjoying the wine. In front of him was the freshly cooked seafood.
I swallowed my saliva and leaned over. "It smells so good."
"Eat, it's freshly caught." Carroll put the wine glass aside, cut the fresh octopus into small pieces, dipped them in sauce, and stuffed them into my mouth.
"Oh, it's so fresh!" I took the fork from his hand. "Did you catch it?"
"Yeah." Carroll picked up his wine glass again and waved it gracefully. "Don't you feel dizzy anymore?"
I was busy eating, so my words sounded unclear. "I feel much better after sleeping. I just missed your heroic posture when you were fishing."
This seafood was much more delicious than Cheuk Restaurant's.
Each of them had unique sweetness.
"You regret it because you missed a chance to play, right?" Carroll rolled his eyes.
The feeling of being seen through was not good. I smiled awkwardly and quickly changed the subject. "Why didn't I feel dizzy anymore all of a sudden?"
"Your senses at the end of the inner ear are not well developed. When the boat shook, you felt dizzy and vomited.
"That's why I gave you seasick medicine. I also used paste to numb your inner ears. Naturally, you wouldn't feel dizzy." Carroll explained.
"Oh!" I was suddenly enlightened, but in fact, I didn't understand.
I ate most of the seafood on the table, and when I wanted to eat more, I was pressed by Carroll on my wrist. "Do you still want to vomit?"
"I've vomited enough." I covered my mouth and felt uncomfortable when I thought of the churning sensation in my stomach.
"Then don't eat anymore. If you eat too much, you'll suffer from severer seasickness." He let go of me and gracefully ate the shrimp that was as long as my arm.
The music outside the yacht seemed to be closer.
I looked out of the window and saw a huge yacht floating on the sea in the distance.
Cheers and music rose one after another.
"Is that a yacht party?" I pointed at the ship and asked.
"It should be Harris. I'll ask Jason to drive the ship a little further." Carroll put down the glass and poured a glass of juice for me.
"No!" I pleaded. "Can I go and have a look?"
"Please, please!"
Carroll said with a cold face, "Do you know that curiosity killed the cat?"
"I'm not a cat, I'm a wolf, ow." I imitated Wolfie and cried out in a childish voice.
I blinked my big eyes and stared at him.
"Get rid of it..."
"Mr. Carroll, you are the most handsome man and the best husband in the world."
"You know what? You're more..."
Carroll covered my mouth and said, "That's enough! Why do you have to learn these greasy words?"
I stuck out my tongue. "I'm telling the truth."
"I'll let Jason take a look at it with you later." Carroll said with a helpless sigh.
"I promise I'll just take a look! I swear to God!" I raised my hand and ran out.
Carroll said gloomily behind me, "It's windy outside. Cover yourself with a blanket."
"Okay."
The stars on the sea are really beautiful.
I could clearly see the direction of the constellations. The distant sea of stars carried a halo, like the Milky Way.
Of course, if it weren't for Harris's yacht, the scene would have been much better.
I stood on the deck of the second floor, and the situation on the opposite boat could be seen clearly.
The beautiful women in bikinis were twisting beside the pool, and the men crazily sprinkled the wine on their bodies.
I said, "Disgusting."
No wonder Carroll didn't allow me to come with him...
"Kelly?"
I turned my head and was about to go back to the cabin when a female voice on the opposite deck stopped me.
I squinted for a long time and finally saw the source of the voice.
Odette.
She sat on the deck and drank alone. She was wearing a long dress.
It was dark red, so it was not obvious in the night.
I leaned against the railing, trying hard to see her expression clearly. "What's wrong? Are you surprised to see that I'm still alive, right?"
She sneered. "I'm surprised to see you coming out of the sea. Even if the country bumpkin took a boat, it shouldn't be a yacht."
"What's that? A fishing boat?" I asked.
She snorted with disdain.
"It doesn't matter whether I'm a country bumpkin or not. At least this ship is my own. The ship you're taking is for lend." I loosened my muscles and bones and tightened the blanket around me.
This sentence clearly touched on Odette's bottom line. She suddenly stood up and confronted me. "Yours? What do you have? A dead husband?
How can you be so proud as a widow? You're so shameless, Kelly."
"If it's not good to be a widow, why do you want to kill me?"
I rendered Odette speechless with just a few words.
"I forgot to tell you that Sandy has been sent to the mental hospital by me.
I don't think the mental hospital would mind accepting you." I added with a sneer.
Odette was clearly panicking. "What did you do to Sandy?"
"You'll know if you ask her yourself." I asked and patiently explained to her, "There are some things that need to be seen by yourself."
For a moment, it seemed that the music of the yacht opposite them was much quieter.
Odette grabbed the railing with both hands and lowered her voice. "Aren't you afraid that the Brown family will deal with you?"
"What am I afraid of? What a joke! If I'm afraid, can you see me leisurely going out to sea? But don't you think you're dirty on the same yacht with those people?"
Coincidentally, the party on the deck of the first floor reached a climax.
The girls took off the only cover on their bodies and threw it to the crowd.
The men under the stage could see their naked bodies.
"Tut-tut." I didn't turn my head. "It's so disgusting. It's better to be a widow. Jason, drive the ship away. I'm afraid that my eyes will get sick when I go back."
