Chapter 3787
“Phillip, if you want to eat anything, just tell me. I can have Austin make it for you.”
Isabella opened the box of pastries and placed it in the center of the table so Tati could try some as well. She remembered that Tati loved the pastries Austin made. As for Louis calling Austin her personal chef, Isabella did not correct him, because it was the truth.
The family benefited from her picky taste and had the privilege of enjoying all sorts of delicious food. She often changed chefs, and every chef she hired was a top expert in the industry. As others put it, even the simplest omelet prepared by a chef from the O'Connor family tasted better than those cooked by others.
“I want to eat everything! I love all the dishes Austin makes, and I also love buns and pastries.”
“Isa, I want ravioli. Can Austin make us ravioli this time?” Not wanting to be left out, Louis made a request of his own after Phillip made one.
Austin laughed. “No problem. This Saturday, I’ll make ravioli for you. I’ll make them with all kinds of fillings, so everyone will be satisfied.”
Phillip asked, puzzled, “Why Saturday, Austin?”
“On Saturday, your big sister is off work and will be at home, so she can enjoy her food slowly. She won’t have to rush like she usually does.”
Isabella was indeed picky about food, but she was so busy with work that she hardly had time for proper meals, especially breakfast. She would quickly eat a little before rushing out the door. Only on weekends, when she had a break, could she really relax and enjoy her meal.
As a personal chef, his top priority was his boss. Isabella gave Austin an appreciative glance, acknowledging that he was thoughtful and considerate toward her.
Tati laughed as she spoke to Phillip, “We all benefit from Isa's generosity, so of course, we have to wait until she’s able to enjoy it too before we can eat.”
They often had ravioli. It was just that Austin had not made ravioli for them before, and Tati was curious to try his ravioli and compare them to others. She wanted to see what made Austin’s ravioli stand out.
Isabella rarely ate ravioli, but if Austin’s ravioli could win her approval, then this man should definitely consider entering cooking competitions. He could easily win first place. They would keep an eye out for culinary competitions and suggest that he enter them because if he became famous by winning a culinary competition, it would be great for his career and especially his restaurant business. Customers would flock in droves to try his dishes.
Isabella only had two pastries and half a cup of water, and she was already full. Tati loved to eat and ate more than her, leaving the rest for Louis and Phillip to finish. Austin quietly watched as Isabella enjoyed the pastries he had made for her.
She was his fiancée, even though she did not know it yet or acknowledge it. His nana had chosen her for him, and he had come all the way here to work as a chef for her. They would end up together eventually.
Watching his future wife enjoy the pastries he made not only gave Austin a sense of accomplishment but also filled him with a feeling of sweetness and happiness. If Isabella could compliment him a little, give him a hug, or maybe even a kiss, he would be over the moon.
Isabella wiped her mouth with a napkin and casually looked up, only to meet Austin's gaze. She realized he had been staring at her the whole time, and when he noticed she had caught him staring, he even smiled at her.
He was handsome, and when he smiled, his charm was off the charts. She had to admit that he was truly pleasant to look at.
“Ms. Isabella, do you think the pastries I made this time have improved?”
