Chapter 1656 Meeting with Sebastian
Tamara and Margot exchanged a glance, both detecting a hint of helplessness and amusement in each other's eyes.
Joseph appeared quite serious. And when he realized they weren't taking his words seriously, he furrowed his brows.
He asserted, "I'm serious. Tammy is our precious little sister. We don't want her to marry too early."
Tamara quickly interjected, "Oh, come on. I'm still young. Marriage is far off in the future. Can't we talk about something else?"
Joseph didn't press the matter further upon seeing how uncomfortable she was.
Margot glanced at Tamara. She remembered the age when Tamara and Sebastian got married. Indeed, it was still far off in the future.
If they followed Joseph's standards, then Tamara had definitely gotten married too young in her previous life. Not only that, but she had also been too young to bear children.
Margot wondered how things would unfold in this life. It seemed like the past would repeat itself since both Tamara and Sebastian started having dreams about their previous life.
Margot was suddenly filled with anticipation.
After lunch, Joseph left after receiving a call. Before leaving, he warned Tamara to keep her distance from guys.
The two girls sent him off. Tamara sighed. "Joseph is always like that. I hope you don't mind him."
Margot nodded. "I know."
She never told Tamara about what had happened between her and Joseph. After all, the fewer people who knew it, the more unlikely it was to happen.
But if Tamara were starting to have dreams about her previous life, did that mean Tamara would one day remember everything from that life?
If that happened, it didn't make a difference whether Margot kept it a secret or not. She suddenly didn't know what to do.
"Let's go. I made an appointment with Sebastian, and he's already waiting for us at High Clouds." Tamara was unaware of Margot's strange expression. She took Margot's hand and walked toward the car.
Margot nodded, and the two of them got into the car.
High Clouds was a famous teahouse in Londsville, renowned for its drinks and atmosphere. It was a perfect place to meet up. They saw Jerome Crowe waiting for them at the entrance when they arrived.
"Ms. Simmons, Ms. Zimmerman, this way, please," Jerome led them in.
Margot glanced at him and couldn't help but wonder why Jerome was already working for Sebastian.
Jerome noticed Margot's strange stare but resisted the urge to ask about it and led them to a private room. "Mr. Lynch is already inside."
"Thank you." Tamara thanked him, and they proceeded to enter the room.
Upon entering, they were greeted by a beautiful screen. Beyond the screen was a spacious room filled with the subtle fragrance of tea.
Sebastian was already seated inside, calmly brewing tea. He was skilled, meaning he was a frequent visitor.
Margot was puzzled again. Seeing how much Sebastian enjoyed brewing tea, she wondered why he had favored 1999 in her previous life. Did Benjamin bring him there?
"Hello, Mr. Lynch." Tamara walked over and greeted him.
Sebastian responded, "Please, have a seat."
Tamara and Margot took their seats across from him. Sebastian poured two cups of tea and placed them before the two women. "Try it."
Tamara felt a bit awkward but took a small sip of the tea. Her eyes immediately lit up. "It's delicious."
Margot also took a sip. She couldn't taste anything special about it, only thinking it wasn't as good as having a beer.
Sebastian turned his gaze to her. "Ms. Zimmerman, how much do you know about me and Tamara?"
Margot paused and glanced at Tamara.
Tamara quickly shook her head, indicating that she didn't know why Sebastian was asking this.
