Chapter 1638 Hard to Believe

Disbelief crossed Victoria's face. What was Margot talking about? Not only had Margot given her the cold shoulder, but she had also outright refused her. Did she realize how many people in Londsville wanted to get on her good side? How could Margot dare to ignore her? Victoria's expression turned ugly. Did Margot somehow figure out what she was planning? How could that be? She only came up with the plan when she learned about Margot. She hadn't even told anyone about it and immediately sought out Margot. She wanted to give her a test. But if that wasn't the case, why would Margot reject her this bluntly? Victoria was puzzled. It looked like she needed to find another way to deal with Margot. ... "Tammy." Margot quickly walked to Tamara's side in surprise. "Why are you here?" Tamara was also stunned. "I met up with Sebastian. What about you?" "Sebastian?" Margot paused and gave a meaningful smile. "What's going on? Are you two planning to get together?" "What are you talking about? Don't make wild assumptions." Tamara immediately explained, "Do you remember the dreams I told you about? Well, Sebastian and I had the same dream again last night ..." She slowly recounted the events from the dream and continued, "We were both puzzled. So we came out to discuss it. But we didn't come to any conclusions." Margot couldn't help but laugh. "Fate, it's fate. It seems that even the heavens can't bear to see you two apart. Everything you dreamed about has already happened." Tamara sighed. "I also feel that way. But it all feels so surreal. The dream felt so real yet distant at the same time." Margot paused. "Does it feel like someone is forcing this upon you?" Tamara nodded. "Yes, exactly that." Margot hooked her arm around Tamara's, and they left the café together. "Don't think too much about it. After all, those things have already happened. Whether you want to be together in this life as you did in the last is entirely up to your wishes." She looked at Tamara with a serious expression. "Tammy, this life is different from the last. No amount of dreams can change your mind if you don't want them to happen." Tamara thought it through. "You're right." As long as she didn't want it, the dreams would be in vain. "What about you? Why are you here?" Tamara asked. Margot sneered. "Benjamin's stepmother came to win me over." Tamara could sense something was up. "It seems like you got caught up in something." Margot nodded. "Yes, but I'm not afraid." Tamara smiled. "What are you going to do next?" Margot replied, "I'm going to the construction site. Do you want to come with me?" "Sure." Tamara nodded. The two of them headed toward their car. As they walked away, a tall figure stepped out. Sebastian's brows furrowed. He hadn't understood their conversation altogether, but he had a vague sense that Tamara didn't seem to care about what had happened in their dreams. Moreover, she didn't want the dreams to become a reality. Sebastian's face darkened at the realization, and his annoyance grew. He had the sudden urge to confront her about it.
