Chapter 1628 Hold a Grudge
Tamara nodded in understanding. "I see."
Margot added, "However, not looking into it now doesn't mean I won't get to the bottom of it in the future. I'm someone who holds grudges."
Tamara nodded again. "Are you staying for dinner tonight?"
"No, Benjamin is coming to pick me up." Margot had a sweet smile on her face.
Tamara nodded. "Alright."
Margot suddenly remembered what she had said earlier and couldn't help asking, "Tamara, aren't you curious about our past lives? And has Sebastian contacted you?"
Having experienced the same thing, she figured Sebastian might contact Tamara.
Tamara's face immediately turned red. "Honestly, I am curious too. But I won't force it. I'll go with the flow."
"It hasn't been that long, and you've already thought it through?" Margot looked at her in surprise.
Tamara shrugged. "Isn't that what you said? No matter how much we struggle, it won't change anything. What if this is my destiny?"
She had seen the white light and had the same dream. Perhaps she and Sebastian would dream of scenes from their past lives again. When that time came, they could meet and discuss it.
Tamara would not admit that she felt embarrassed discussing the situation with Sebastian.
Margot nodded. "That's right. You should have thought this way from the beginning to save yourself from all the unnecessary worries. Whenever you see Sebastian, you blush and get nervous as if he did something to you."
"Margot!" Tamara glared at her and raised her voice.
"Alright, I won't tease you anymore. I'm going to find my boyfriend." Margot stood up and walked toward the door.
Tamara was a bit surprised. "He's here so soon?"
Margot nodded. "Yes. Maybe he was nearby."
Just a moment ago, Benjamin had sent her a message saying he had arrived. She was surprised. But then, she recalled mentioning that she would be at the Simmons' residence.
"By the way, I've asked Anthony to protect you. I feel more at ease with him protecting you," Tamara said.
Margot's eyes flickered, and she nodded. "Alright. Thank you, love."
Tamara waved her hand. "Go on. Don't keep Mr. Inkling waiting."
"Goodbye!" Margot opened the door and left the room. Just as she reached the ground floor, she ran into Quentin. The two of them exchanged a glance.
Margot sneered disdainfully, not bothering to greet him.
Surprisingly, Quentin didn't provoke her either. He walked past her with an expressionless face.
Margot didn't pay him any mind and left the Simmons' residence.
Quentin went upstairs and saw Margot leaving. He noticed a car from the Inkling family was parked at the entrance.
Did Margot have some connection to the Inkling family?
A sinister look flashed in Quentin's eyes as his gaze swept over Tamara's room. He sneered.
It was almost Tamara's 19th birthday.
Even if he knew that Tamara was not the Simmons family's biological daughter, their father was still preparing for her birthday banquet. He wondered why.
Her mother had betrayed her father, but her father was still tolerant of them. It was truly despicable!
He needed to make preparations and drive this shameless mother and daughter out of the Simmons family!
...
Meanwhile, Benjamin stood outside the Simmons' residence in front of his car. As soon as he saw Margot, he pulled her into his arms.
