Chapter 1626 Lingering Fear

However, Anthony said, "I'll protect Ms. Zimmerman once Mrs. Simmons agrees." With that, he turned and walked away. Tamara was left stunned. She looked at Margot and hesitated before saying, "He wasn't like this before." Margot had her own suspicion. She remained silent for a moment. "Tammy, how old is your niece now?" Tamara tilted her head. "She's 12 years old. Why do you ask?" "That pervert," Margot muttered to herself. Margot couldn't help but sneer at Anthony. "It's nothing. It's just that there's not a single nice soul in your brother's family. Be careful." Tamara sat down beside her. "There's something I want to talk to you about." "Go ahead." Margot looked at her expectantly. Tamara, however, didn't know how to start. She blushed slightly. Seeing Tamara's strange expression, Margot couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong? Did you get caught watching some adult movies?" Tamara gave her a blank look. "Something like that. But I wasn't caught." It wasn't exactly an adult movie, either. It was her own ... Margot immediately looked at her in surprise. "You've been naughty, Tammy! Were you actually watching an adult movie? Where did you watch it? I want to watch too!" Tamara gave her a deadpan look. Her nervousness and embarrassed emotions gradually dissipated following Margot's reactions. She hesitated. "Last night, I saw a white light while watching the meteor shower. Sebastian saw it, too." She slowly explained the strange details of last night. Margot listened in shock, and her jaw fell. Tamara, seeing her expression, asked, "What's wrong?" Margot responded, "No wonder you asked me how you and Sebastian got together. So this is why." Tamara's cheeks turned red again. Margot clicked her tongue. "This is fate. No matter how much you resist, fate will bring the two of you together." Tamara pursed her lips. After a moment of silence, she sighed. "I don't like it." Margot was puzzled. "Why not?" "It feels like I'm being set up," Tamara said without reservation. "My life is my own, and I want to live it my way. I don't want to be a puppet on a wire." Margot blinked and hesitated. "But Sugar, how do you know this isn't your destiny?" Tamara fell silent. Margot continued, "You and Sebastian were really happy together in our previous life. Sure, the two of you got off the wrong foot. "But as time progressed, the two of you began to trust and fall in love with each other. The both of you seldom get into fights, too. I still remember how envious I was of your relationship." Tamara remained silent. Margot put her arm around her shoulder. "Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Since you don't like being pushed around, then just don't worry about it. Follow your heart. It doesn't matter whether you end up together or not. At least, you're living for yourself." Tamara nodded. "Okay." She got up. "I'll talk to my mother about lending Anthony to you." "Sure, I'll lie down for a while." Margot hugged a pillow. She really needed some rest. She had gone through a lot in her previous life and had grown mentally strong because of it. However, the recent explosion had left her with lingering fear. She was just one step away from certain death. Tamara went to the greenhouse and saw Alex reading a book. She walked over and sat down across from her. "Mom, I want Anthony to protect Margot for a while."
