Chapter 1625 Explosion

"Ms. Zimmerman!" Dylan and the others rushed over to assist Margot. They helped her up and anxiously asked, "Are you okay?" Margot spat out the dust in her mouth, looking very disheveled. Her face darkened. "Call the police!" Dylan immediately took out his phone and dialed the police. Margot turned to look at the burning car, now destroyed. She couldn't imagine what would have happened if she hadn't gotten out of the car just in time. She might have been blown to pieces! Who could have done this? The first thought that crossed her mind was the Zimmerman family on Nammu Bay, but she quickly dismissed that idea. Nammu Bay was still unaware of her existence, so they wouldn't want to kill her. That left the Inkling family as the prime suspect. She thought back to the news she had seen this morning, filled with scandals about the Inkling family's illegitimate child and some heavy revelations. If they were confirmed to be true, Lance would be executed soon. Lance was clearly provoking Benjamin by targeting her. Margot huffed. She waited until the police arrived and watched as they closed off the area before taking her to the police station for a statement. After finishing the formalities, Margot left the police station and took a taxi to the Simmons' residence. She was disheveled and covered in soot. Upon seeing her, Tamara immediately asked, "What happened? How did you end up like this?" Margot sighed. "I want to take a shower first. Can you find me some clothes? I'll tell you everything when I come out." "Sure, go ahead." Tamara led her upstairs. Margot entered the bathroom and quickly washed up before coming back out. Tamara had prepared a dress for her. She put it on, letting out a heavy sigh. "Tammy, can you order some of your bodyguards to watch over me? I think I'll be in danger soon." Margot looked at Tamara. Tamara grew nervous. "What makes you say that?" Margot told her what had happened. Tamara's eyes widened in shock, and she quickly checked to make sure Margot was okay. "Are you injured?" "No. If I were injured, I would have gone to the hospital instead. Why would I come over to your place?" Margot shook her head. She valued her life. She didn't return to the past to risk her life for a fight. Tamara finally relaxed and nodded. "I have a competent bodyguard named Anthony. He can protect you." With that, she got up and walked to the balcony. She called for him, and he appeared downstairs. "Anthony, come here," Tamara said to him. Margot's eyes flickered. Soon, Anthony arrived. Tamara pointed at him. "He's my bodyguard, and he's very skilled. He can protect you." Margot asked, "You're giving him to me? What about you?" Tamara smiled. "My uncle has also arranged bodyguards to protect me, and I've made a breakthrough with the scented tea leaves I've been working on recently. I have enough protection for myself." "That's good." Margot nodded. She turned to Anthony. He appeared around the same age as them and stood at the side with a lowered gaze. She walked over and extended her hand. "Hello, I'm Margot. I'll be relying on you to protect me from now on." Anthony did not mirror her actions. Instead, he looked at Tamara. "Miss, have you informed Mrs. Simmons about this?" Tamara was taken aback, not expecting Anthony to bring this up. "I'm sure my mother won't object."
