Chapter 93
The members of the Leichter family was awestruck by Atlas' presence.
Even Larry, who believed he was beyond saving, was amazed.
When nobody else dared to try to save him, Atlas did.
Larry was so moved that he disregarded his own dignity and repeatedly expressed his gratitude. "Thank you for saving me, sir! The Leichter family will forever be grateful. Thank you very much, sir!"
At that moment, Larry truly felt as if the hand of death dragging him toward the afterlife had been severed by Atlas.
Atlas had always been a man of his word. He promised he would save Larry, and that was what he would do.
He turned to Tabitha and said, "You should head back to Herbal Emporium. Don't worry, the Leichters won't do anything to damage its reputation. In fact, they'll personally clarify everything to the media."
"But…" Tabitha shook her head. She felt worried. She was concerned about not finding the person who sabotaged Herbal Emporium.
She was also worried that if Atlas failed to save Larry, things would get even more complicated.
Atlas looked at her seriously. "Have I ever failed to do something I said I could?"
Tabitha thought about it and realized that although she didn't know where Atlas got his confidence, he had never failed to deliver on his promises.
"Take care, then. I'll handle things at Herbal Emporium. If anything happens, let me know. Don't let our daughter worry about you," Tabitha said as she turned to leave.
Without looking back, Atlas wheeled Larry into the ward.
Outside the ICU, everyone watched intently.
"Cameron, can this guy really save your dad?"
"Cameron, your dad is the Great Doctor. If he dies at the hands of a mediocre doctor, the Leichter's reputation will be ruined!"
"Cameron, there's still time to stop him."
Cameron was anxious. His palms were sweaty.
Outside the ward, the entire Leichter family was waiting nervously. They watched as Atlas entered the ward with empty hands.
Just as Cameron's anxiety peaked, Atlas pulled out a case from nowhere. Inside were silver needles he carried with him everywhere.
In an instant, the atmosphere in the room changed.
Even Larry was visibly moved.
Cameron, on the other hand, was so happy that he dropped to his knees.
"Dad will be saved! He'll be saved!"
Although Cameron had left medicine for business, he recognized the acupuncture technique.
Larry had often boasted about it to him since he was a child. It was The Celestial Acupuncture Codex!
Larry had always wanted to master it. However, despite ten years of practice, he couldn't grasp its intricacies. He often lamented that only the Blackwell family could truly understand its mysteries.
Upon seeing The Celestial Acupuncture Codex, Cameron was filled with regret.
He had offended a member of the Blackwell family. Atlas was none other than the legendary doctor, Thaddeus!
Compared to the Crimson Hawk Fighter, even the Great Doctor seemed insignificant.
Luckily, Thaddeus was a man of integrity. Otherwise, Larry would not have survived the day.
Half an hour later, Larry coughed up a mouthful of black blood onto the white bedsheet as Atlas finished his treatment.
Atlas removed the needles and said, "I've stabilized your condition. But you'll need a few more treatments to fully recover. Don't worry, I'll make time each month for your treatment."
Larry was ecstatic and wanted to get up.
Atlas stopped him and said, "Rest now, you don't need to get up!"
Larry nodded and instructed Cameron, "Please see the gentleman out!"
Cameron had witnessed a miracle.
Although Larry had coughed up black blood, his vitality had clearly improved.
It was truly remarkable. The Crimson Hawk Fighter, Thaddeus had lived up to his reputation!
