Chapter 1772

The Snow Eagle circled in the dark, overcast sky, its icy radiance scattering in all directions. With its massive wings spread wide, it seemed capable of engulfing the entire sky. Its razor-sharp gaze locked onto the people below, radiating both aggression and undisguised arrogance. "This beast is incredibly strong! Stay alert, everyone!" Jos shouted while gripping his spiked mace tightly. His forehead bulged with veins from the strain. Short and wiry, with shifty eyes and a face full of cunning, he wore a set of dusty, ragged clothes, making him appear both unkempt and sinister. Mosiah, dressed in a sleek black combat outfit, stood with a grim expression so heavy it seemed ready to drip with tension. His hands clutched a pair of shadowy daggers as fear flickered in his eyes, though he forced a smirk on his lips, attempting to maintain his composure. Alexandra, clad in a flowing pink dress, looked ethereal as the wind toyed with the fabric of her gown. Though breathtakingly beautiful, her expression was cold as frost. She held a long sword, exuding an air of divine elegance. She soared into the air without hesitation, and a streak of pink light headed straight for the Snow Eagle. The Snow Eagle suddenly flapped its enormous wings, unleashing a howling storm. The powerful gust caused Alexandra to stumble mid-air, but she bit down on her silver teeth while pressing forward. With a swift swing of her sword, she aimed straight for its head. In response, the Snow Eagle shot forward like lightning, its hooked beak lunging toward her. Alexandra twisted mid-air, dodging gracefully while swinging her sword toward its razor-sharp talons. At that moment, Jos swung his spiked mace, the weapon whistling through the air as it smashed toward the Snow Eagle's wing. However, the Snow Eagle unleashed a violent shockwave with a single mighty flap, sending Jos flying backward. He crashed onto the ground, coughing up blood. His face twisted in pain, feeling utterly humiliated. Seeing an opportunity, Mosiah activated his Shadow Kill technique. His phantom-like silhouette flickered around the Snow Eagle, moving like a ghost, as his shadow daggers lashed out in rapid succession. However, the Snow Eagle reacted swiftly, whipping its wings with astonishing speed. Mosiah was sent hurtling through the air, slamming into a massive tree—the trunk snapped instantly under the impact. Sebastian, who was standing calmly to the side, stepped lightly, executing Phantom Stride. His movements were like drifting mist, and his presence was ethereal and elusive like a specter. Dressed in a flowing black robe, his posture was upright and unwavering. His sharp features carried an icy determination, and his deep eyes shone with a chilling light. He seized the moment and unleashed Energy Slash. A streak of interwoven black and white sword energy flashed across the sky, slicing toward the Snow Eagle like a thunderbolt. Sensing the imminent threat, the Snow Eagle swiftly raised a wing to block the attack. The sword energy left a deep gash across its toughened feathers, and a visible wound marked its form. The Snow Eagle shrieked in rage, its cry sharp enough to shatter the air. Suddenly, a frigid blast erupted from its beak. It was an icy breath so powerful that the surrounding area froze instantly. Alexandra, who was caught mid-motion, found herself encased in ice. She was completely immobilized. Sebastian struck again, unleashing the power of Energy Breaker, instantly shattering the Snow Eagle's icy entrapment and freeing Alexandra. The Snow Eagle flapped its wings violently, sending sharp wind blades howling toward the group. Sebastian executed Reversal of the Elements without hesitation, disrupting the trajectory of the deadly wind blades, allowing everyone to narrowly evade. "Damn beast!" Jos struggled to his feet as his face was covered in dust and dirt. Gritting his teeth, he charged recklessly toward the Snow Eagle once more—only for the Snow Eagle to swipe at his chest with its massive claws, leaving him bloodied and torn. Seeing this, Mosiah' eyes flashed with ruthless determination. Gathering all his strength, he launched his ultimate attack, but the Snow Eagle dodged it effortlessly. Sebastian no longer concealed his true power. The Harmony Blade erupted with dazzling brilliance, and at the same time, he activated Destructive Finger. A surge of formidable energy blasted into the Snow Eagle's abdomen, causing the beast to shriek in agony. Yet, the Snow Eagle became even more frenzied rather than retreating, and it began launching a relentless assault. Sebastian's figure flickered, executing Dimension Slash once more. A spatial rift tore open before the Snow Eagle, leaving it no room to escape. One of its massive wings was instantly sucked into the void, and blood splattered in all directions. The Snow Eagle let out a tormented howl, for the first time showing a glimmer of fear in its savage eyes. By now, everyone except Sebastian was gasping for breath, and their bodies were covered in cuts and bruises. But despite their injuries, they remained locked onto the Snow Eagle, prepared to deliver the final, fatal strike. Mosiah's shadow daggers were whirling like a raging storm, unleashing a crescendo of slashes. Their energy shook even the cliffs of the canyon. His final strike cleaved through the Snow Eagle, drenching him in the beast's blood. Jos was panting heavily as he delivered the finishing blow, slicing off the Snow Eagle's final head. The gushing blood seared their skin with an intense burning heat, as if carrying some unknown energy. With a final agonized roar, the Snow Eagle's entire body self-destructed. It triggered a chain of explosions in the void, sending violent energy currents surging in all directions. Though the battle was won, the three of them had suffered severe wounds, leaving them in a state of mutual devastation. "The Mystic Crocodile is in our hands. You can leave now." Mosiah's voice was low as his gaze flickered with unreadable intentions. Jovi hesitated, his expression shifting before he nodded reluctantly. "No." Sebastian's voice was firm and ice-cold. "If we retreat now, we will have no chance. They intend to claim everything for themselves—there is no way I will allow it. "We endured countless hardships to get here. Do you really think we should walk away empty-handed?" "But…" Jovi frowned deeply, his face full of hesitation. "Sebastian is right. Right now, we are not weaker than them, Mr. Lamont. "In fact, they're already injured—so why should we simply hand over this golden opportunity?" Jovi's voice grew anxious while his expression brimmed with frustration and unwillingness.
