OLIVIA’S POV
When Dominic said he had something planned, I expected… well, I didn’t really know what to expect. A dinner at the packhouse? A walk through the forest trails? Something quiet and low-key, maybe.
What I wasn’t expecting was this.
The clearing was lit with strings of soft golden fairy lights hung between trees that seemed to hum with magic. A blanket was spread across the grass in the center, flanked by lanterns that flickered like fireflies. A low wooden table was set with two plates, a bottle of red wine, and my favorite snacks—he remembered everything. Even the chocolate-dipped strawberries.
I stood there blinking like an idiot, my heart swelling.
“You did all this… for me?” I asked, stepping slowly into the glow.
He shrugged, pretending to play it cool. “I figured if I’m going to ask my Luna out on a date, I better not half-ass it.”
