Chapter 1454
Solomon gently touched Ines' cheek, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "What's the matter this time?"
Seeing Ines silent, he continued, "I've been busy lately and overlooked you. After this busy period—"
Before he could finish, Ines coldly interrupted him. "There's no reason. I'm just tired of it; I don't want to be with you anymore."
Solomon's expression froze for a moment, seemingly unable to react.
"What did you say?"
He lifted Ines' chin, making her look directly at him. His peach blossom eyes were tinged with a faint smile. "Tired? Tired of me?"
"Yes," Ines replied earnestly.
Solomon's smile faltered.
Seizing his distraction, Ines pushed him away forcefully and got up from his lap.
Solomon flicked the cigarette ash, his face devoid of a smile. "Ines, repeat it. I didn't hear clearly."
He gave her a chance to retract her words.
However, Ines did not back down, enunciating each word, "I said, I'm tired of you. I don't have feelings toward you anymore and don't want to be with you. I want to break up!"
As her words fell, the office fell silent, with the pressure in the room plummeting.
Solomon narrowed his eyes, a sharp gaze fixed on Ines' face.
He stubbed out the cigarette, stood up, and approached Ines step by step. Ines subconsciously backed away, feeling an impulse to flee.
However, she held herself back. In her perspective, Solomon would not go to extremes with her.
In his eyes, she was dispensable, and he had no shortage of women. Losing her meant countless others would take her place.
"What are you going to do?" Ines retreated a few steps until her back hit the couch, and she fell onto it.
The next moment, Solomon closed the distance, completely pinning her down.
Ines panicked. This was the office, and someone could come in anytime. What if they saw them?
"What do you think I'll do?" Solomon, tall and imposing, effortlessly subdued Ines. He held her wrists above her head, making her feel like a fish on a chopping board, at his mercy.
Ines glared at him. "Solomon, let me go!"
Bending down, he blatantly slipped his hand under her skirt.
"Tired of me? No feelings?" the man spoke slowly, his large hand wandering brazenly over her sensitive areas, stirring up trouble.
Ines trembled all over, her face flushed, and she was almost on the verge of tears. "Don't, don't do this."
Solomon watched her crimson face, his eyes clouding with desire, increasing the pressure of his actions.
"No! Stop!" Ines widened her eyes; how could he do this?
Solomon chuckled lowly, his movements unabated. "You said you had no feelings, but now you're feeling something, right?"
Ines bit her lip tightly, feeling embarrassed, angry, and wronged all at once, tears streaming down her face.
"Why did you cry?"
Solomon lowered his head, kissing away her tears, his tongue tracing the corners of her eyes. His tone was teasing. "We haven't seen each other for over two months. Do you miss me?"
"No, I don’t." Ines was forcefully silenced as Solomon sealed her lips with his own, effortlessly prying open her mouth and conquering her territory.
Heartless woman. She might not want him, but he wanted her desperately.
Ines' head spun from his expert kissing skills, unable to ignore his other hand's actions.
