Chapter 3013
Rachel noticed Severin's gaze and squatted down. She gently took Hardin's delicate hand in hers and said softly, "Say hi to your 'daddy', Hardin?"
Still wary from the ordeal, Hardin hesitated and sought refuge behind Rachel.
Upon seeing Hardin's timid demeanor, Gilda's mind drifted back to the day she entrusted her infant son to Rachel's care. A couple of years had flown past in the blink of an eye, and the sight of her son's fearful expression tugged at Gilda's heartstrings, causing her to tear up.
"Do you still remember me?" Gilda approached him tenderly and reached out to stroke his head. "I'm your mom," she whispered softly.
Rachel, too, felt her eyes moisten as she gently touched Hardin's head. "This is your mom, Hardin. Remember how you always asked me about your mom and dad?"
Encouraged by Rachel's words, Hardin tentatively emerged from behind her and gazed at Gilda with a mix of longing and cautious hope. "You're…my mom?" he asked softly.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Gilda embraced Hardin tightly as tears streamed down her cheeks. She hugged the boy and she cried tears of joy, "Yes, my darling. I'm your mom," she replied, her voice choked with emotion.
Hardin's face lit up with joy. "My mom! You're my mom!" he exclaimed happily.
"And what about my dad?" he asked eagerly.
Wiping away her tears, Gilda pointed towards Severin and said, "That's him."
Hardin cast a wary glance at Severin before being reassured by the encouraging expressions of Gilda and Rachel. "Hi, Dad," he said, his voice filled with newfound excitement.
Severin chuckled warmly at the sight and was impressed by Hardin's resilience. Despite the boy's initial wariness, the boy's spirit remained strong, much to Severin's delight.
Everyone could feel just how happy Hardin was. In the past, he often wondered why other people had parents but he did not; having parents made him incredibly happy, and his face beamed with much joy. His was a simple happiness that was easily fulfilled.
Diane watched the heartwarming scene with a smile, and even the former 12 hall masters were deeply touched by the reunion.
Turning to Larry and the others, Severin said, "You and everyone else shall tend to the Skyblue Sect first. Once that's done, do any of you have further plans? If not, then perhaps you could join me in the Bleurealm?"
With the imminent realm convergence, the Longevity Alliance required talented individuals. Larry, Mick, and the rest of them were commendable practitioners, and their loyalty was unquestionable. Given Bleurealm's abundant spiritual energy, they could be able to make a breakthrough to royal paragon within a century with the aid of ample pills.
Larry and the others were all astonished by the invitation. Diane and Gilda had earlier painted a vivid picture of Bleurealm's grandeur and magnificence, which contrasted starkly to the world of spiritual attainment on Earth. Having reached the limits of their progress, Larry and his companions eagerly embraced the prospect of exploring a new and broader world.
"We are ready to serve you!" they declared.
Having expressed their desires, they immediately set off to restore order in the Skyblue Sect. When they left, Gilda approached Severin and asked softly, "Do you plan to relocate the entire Skyblue Sect to the Grandiuno Sacred Land?"
