Chapter 3003
From the point of view of Larry and his comrades, they had witnessed the black-robed figures above them incinerating before their very eyes. Strange flames had erupted from their bodies, reducing them to ash. Their momentary relief was short-lived, as wisps of gray mist emerged from the charred remains and coalesced into an indistinct figure.
That mist-shrouded figure exuded a commanding presence that struck fear into the hearts of Larry and his companions. From that instinctive fear, Larry was able to tell that the individual who had manifested was almost certainly much stronger than the black-robed assailants in terms of strength.
Larry felt a surge of dread as he recalled the devastation wrought by the black-robed practitioners upon their defenceless sect. Before he could alert Severin to it, a brilliant divine light enveloped the mist-shrouded figure and unleashed an overwhelming cosmic pressure.
In an instant, every being within a thousand-mile radius felt a strong pressure pushing them down to the ground. No amount of resistance could bring them back up. While Larry and his allies were gripped by terror, they watched as Severin seemed to halt the very flow of time and space with a single step. The world seemed to pause, and only their minds seemed to flow.
However, the stagnation lasted but a mere moment. When Larry came to his senses, he realized that Severin had already dealt with the imposing figure with a single slash, reducing it to ashes scattered amidst the heaven and earth. This display left the Skyblue Sect awestruck, especially Larry and Mick. They had already known that Severin would have become much stronger than a supreme saint, but the sheer strength that Severin had displayed had seemingly gone beyond their expectations.
Before they could fully comprehend the spectacle, however, a clear gulp reverberated through the air and snapped them back to reality. Just as Mick was about to ask what was that, Severin's voice echoed from above and asked, "Are all the hall masters here?"
"Yes!" Larry, Mick, Rachel, Yidel, and the other eight responded in unison.
"Your task now is to save all the disciples of the Skyblue Sect. I'll be back soon," Severin left, leaving only a fleeting glimpse of his rear future.
Eliza's last words continued to weigh heavily on Severin's mind. He feared not Eliza, but the potential exposure of Earth to outside forces. After all, he could not remain at the Skyblue Sect indefinitely, and he would one day return to the Bleurealm and be prepared for the impending realm convergence.
As the saying went, it was always better to be safe than to be sorry.
Severin was worried that the Eliza Sect might launch another attack on the Skyblue Sect after he returned to the Bleurealm. As soon as Eliza's projection was destroyed, Severin promptly utilized his celestial imprint and divine senses to scour the Earth's surface and pinpoint the space-time rift that led to the Devil Realm.
Determined to safeguard Earth, Severin resolved to take pre-emptive actions to enter the Devil Realm and eradicate the Eliza Sect's threat. He traveled solo into the time-space rift. By relying on the protection of the heavenly heart imprints, Severin found himself shielded by the power of heaven and earth. He was thus immune to any influence on the void.
Without further delay, he extended his divine senses and swiftly located the rift's exit. Delighted that he was able to do so easily, he wasted no time and soared through the time-space rift toward the Devil Realm. His divine senses remained active while he made his way to the exit.
The Devil Realm differed vastly from Bleurealm, and Severin's divine senses recoiled from the violent spiritual energy and pervasive sense of death that permeated the atmosphere. Two blood-red suns cast an ominous glow over the land, shrouding it in darkness and despair.
As he prepared to probe further with his divine senses, a familiar malevolent aura permeated the skies—signalling the unmistakable sign of Eliza's presence. Soon, Eliza's voice echoed with dripping menace, "I will be back when realms converge, and you shall fall in my hands! The secrets you harbor will be much valued indeed!"
Severin, still within the rift, responded with a scornful sneer.
