●Author's POV● Liam didn’t expect to see Avery at the hospital. When he caught a glimpse of her, he felt something change within him, a whole new kind of feeling. As she stared coldly at the hand that was holding Riley, he had this feeling like he was caught doing something he wasn't supposed to. So, he tried to pull away. Like Riley expected that to happen, she held him back in place. He wanted to pull more when he noticed the look on Avery's face. She seemed like she was going to laugh at any second now. Was she really mocking him? Why?? "What mother?" Her gaze was so cold when she denied her mother right in front of everyone. Madison was someone she loved even more than herself but hearing her ask that question shocked Liam to the bone. "What's wrong with her?" He couldn't help but ask himself. After Riley finally let go of him and ran to Madison, he wanted to pull her away so they could talk privately but before he could make a move, she brushed past him like she didn't see him sta
