"Where are you? Your mother has fallen ill and is hospitalized." "Avery... this is more serious than before." My fingers shook as I swiped through the texts. How come? She was healthy the last time I saw her. What happened all of a sudden. Or is this another one of Benjamin's tricks? Is he just doing this to get me to come back as always. I know he can stoop this low to get his heart desires. Still, I didn't know what to do. I have every reason not to go see Madison. There was a lot of reasons but there was still that small voice at the back of my head urging me to go; that maybe this wasn't a lie. Maybe, just maybe she really is sick and might even be dying. I clutched my phone tightly in my palm as I thought more about what to do. Should I stay or should I go? I raised my phone and stared at the text message again. "Ahhh.. fuck it!!" I snapped at myself as I scurried off to my car idly resting at the building complex's parking lot. I started the engine and zoomed off to the pack's ho
