Isabelle was genuinely shocked by Cedar’s proposal. She stared at him with an inexplicable gaze for a long time. She felt as if Cedar was not joking around at all as his gaze was completely serious. She was not afraid of concealing her thoughts just because she was afraid of offending another person. Besides, the question came from Cedar. It was his problem for suddenly saying such random things while asking her to consider him. She would have considered his suggestion carefully if Cedar had confessed directly without beating around the bush. However, he used such an excuse, and he made it sound like he was compromising just for her. She wanted to fall in love, and so did he. However, did that mean the two people who happened to be single could make do with each other? Isabelle did not consider compromising with him in her mind. She used to pursue Nash because she subconsciously thought that it was love. Moreover, they had feelings for each other because they grew up together from a young age!
