Chapter 1821
Cedar had already left by the time Isabelle went downstairs.
Isabelle saw her dearest Mother sitting on the sofa with her worries plastered onto her face.
Isabelle went to her and asked, “Where’s Big Brother? Why did he leave so quickly?”
Of course, Zachary would never tell his daughter about what had happened earlier.
Zachary chased Cedar away.
Zachary was indeed stunned when he first heard Cedar’s confession. However, when he thought about it again, it was true that there were not many who deserved his daughter.
Although Cedar was much older than Isabelle, Cedar could be the one for her. However, that was not the key obstacle. What was more important was his daughter’s own feelings.
It was evident that the little girl had not noticed Cedar’s feelings. Obviously, Cedar was still testing the waters.
In fact, Zachary should not have chased Cedar away earlier. After all, it would be their own business if they fell in love with each other. If his daughter was willing to listen, he would give her guidance and advice as her father. However, he would never be controlling over her feelings for another person.
Although that was what Zachary had in his mind, he would never let Cedar know about that.
As Isabelle’s father, he could not explicitly tell Cedar that he agreed with their potential relationship. Cedar would have to depend on himself on how far he could go.
Zachary stopped thinking about it and glanced at his cute and beautiful daughter.
Caroline regretfully replied, “Your Big Brother Cedar said something urgent happened at work and left. What a pity. We didn’t even get to gather much.”
Isabelle did not feel anything about Cedar’s departure. She went to Caroline and held her arm.
Isabelle said, “Mom, you have your dearest daughter right here!”
Hearing that, Caroline smiled happily and said, “What a sweet-talker.”
“But Mommy, you like it when Bella talks sweetly!”
Isabelle was excellent when it came to acting like a baby to her parents.
“Oh, you. I’m going to cook for you. Your brother is coming home tonight. What should we eat tonight? Your Aunt Yara is coming too!”
Caroline had already started worrying about dinner before having her lunch.
“I’m fine with anything. Do you need my help?”
Caroline shook her head and said, “You should spend more time with your Dad. You’ve rarely been home for the past two months. He misses you a lot.”
Hearing that, Isabelle hugged Zachary over his neck and put her chin against his shoulder.
She said cutely, “Dad, you love Lil Lion the most, right?”
Zachary glanced at her and asked, “What do you want?”
He knew his dearest daughter the best.
“I saw the latest sports car in the garage. I know you bought it for Mom, but I really want to drive it around.”
Zachary reminded Isabelle, “You don’t have a license yet.”
“But I can drive. The police won’t check on me. Even if I got caught, Dad can go to the police station and bail me out.”
Isabelle could drive even though she had no driving license yet. Caroline taught her to drive in the castle behind the villa. It was a grand castle with an ice rink and a park with a racing track. The ice rink and park were for the children.
Since Caroline loved racing, Zachary deliberately built a racing track for her.
Who would have expected that the racing track would end up belonging to his daughter?
Zachary knew about Isabelle’s driving skills. Zachary did not want to disappoint Isabelle since he already had an idea about her skills.
A thought flashed in his mind as he recalled what Cedar had told him earlier.
He solemnly observed the girl in front of him.
Isabelle was a cheerful and bold girl. She had a strong personality, and she always refused to admit defeat. What kind of man would be suitable for a girl like her? What kind of man could take care of her?
If it was another man, Zachary would remain worried for her. However, Zachary knew Cedar by his roots.
Once Zachary thought about it that way, he started to be biased.
He began to lean towards Cedar.
