“You disgust me, Alexander.”
The chains bit into my wrists each time I moved. My skin was already rubbed raw, the metal slick with a mixture of my sweat and blood from it but I pulled it anyway, refusing to be still, refusing to let him think that he already got me, that I already complied with what he wants.
Alexander crouched in front of me, his broad shoulders shadowing the dim candlelight. “You still haven’t given up yet? I told you; I will spend the rest of my life here with you.”
I looked at him in disgust. “I’d rather die than spending my whole life with you.”
