Realizing that Elijah's question had been a trap, Giselle felt a cold chill shoot up from the soles of her feet.
He had known all along. If she had tried to lie just now about not seeing anyone, he would have undoubtedly flown into another fit of rage.

He tapped her forehead affectionately. "As long as you're good and stop trying to make me angry, I'm happy."

He pulled her into his arms, leaning down to rest his chin on her shoulder. "You don't have to lie next time you want to go out. I won't keep you locked up anymore."
Hearing this, Giselle immediately pushed him back. She pointed a finger at him, immediately growing bold. "You said it yourself. From now on, you can't micromanage where I go."
