Chapter 148 I'll Handle It
Charlotte smiled and nodded. She knew her husband would surely resolve all these troubles for her.
She thought of Sanira, the incident of wanting to return the jewelry, and sighed softly.
Luna looked at her strangely, "Is something bothering you?"
Charlotte frowned, "I feel like you coming back this time is just to cause trouble for me."
Luna gently spoke, "I'll handle all of this."
Seeing his misunderstanding, Charlotte quickly explained, "It's not about the fabric incident. It's about Sanira wanting to return that necklace last night. I told her it was custom-made and couldn't be returned, so she got a little upset."
Luna's expression was serious, "If you don't like it, we won't take her orders in the future."
She smiled and said, "That won't do. It's easy not to do business with him, but if it affects our reputation, it will be more harm than good."
Luna reached out and touched her hair, "But I don't want to see you being wronged. Your feelings matter more than anything else."
Charlotte smiled and continued, "But I also don't want to put you in a difficult position. It's okay, I can handle these things. I'm not a child anymore, and you don't have to worry about me all the time."
Charlotte stayed in his office for a while, feeling a bit bored, so she went out.
She also asked Luna's assistant to tell her what had happened just now.
After listening, Charlotte didn't find it strange at all. She thought that such a person would definitely try to sow discord between him and Luna with the ugly things that happened in the past.
Unfortunately, Sanira's plan had failed. Luna even knew more than she did.
"I see, you can leave now."
When Charlotte came back with milk tea earlier, she heard someone talking in the room.
After listening for a while at the door, Charlotte realized it was Sanira who had come.
So she pushed the door open directly, just to drive Sanira away.
The appearance of this woman did indeed make her mood a little uneasy.
She immediately called Sofia and asked her to come out and play.
"What did you say! Sanira came to provoke us?"
Charlotte nodded, "Yes, I didn't expect it either."
Sofia quickly calmed down and said, "We can't just sit and wait. We have to find a way to fight back."
Charlotte squinted her eyes, "Do you have any good ideas?"
With determination in her voice, Sofia said, "I don't see anything wrong with this. If she can come and provoke us like this, why can't we fight back? If we continue to let it go, who knows what else Sanira will do."
Although she had some concerns in this regard, Charlotte still believed in the love between him and Luna.
It wouldn't be easily destroyed by a woman who suddenly appeared.
"But Luna didn't even react to her. He didn't even respond to her when facing her," Charlotte said.
Sofia calmly said, "What you see on the surface is just the tip of the iceberg. We can easily know about it, but if Sanira becomes desperate and tries to force him, what will you do?"
"I haven't thought about it..."
Sofia looked at her with some disdain, "How come at a time like this, your brain doesn't work? What I'm saying is true and could happen. If there's nothing going on, it's fine, but if something does happen between them? Will you continue to live with him, or will you divorce him? Don't forget, you have two children together."
Sofia was right, but Charlotte hadn't considered this before. She felt that such a thing would never happen to her.
"You're good at everything, but you're too indecisive. Where's the one who used to be decisive?" Sofia reproached her.
Charlotte pondered for a moment, "Luna is with me every day, and Sanira doesn't have a chance to do these things."
Sofia softly said to her, "It may be because he's always with you that he doesn't dare to do such things. But if he goes on a business trip and she follows without us knowing, even if you find out, there's nothing you can do to stop it."
Thinking of these things, Charlotte felt a headache. She looked conflicted, "So, I can't tie him to me all the time."
Sofia listened to her and felt that she was finally waking up.
Sofia lowered her voice and said to her, "You have to let him be with you all the time, even if he goes on a business trip, you have to follow him to prevent such things from happening."
Charlotte nodded, "We mustn't give this woman a chance. I've finally obtained the happy life I have now, and I can't let someone take it away from me."
Sofia looked at her, feeling amused by Charlotte's troubled expression, "You've been through a lot over the years, but I think your husband won't easily be fooled."
Charlotte sighed, "I still want to believe him in such matters, but you're right, we can't be too careful."
Sofia reached out and patted her shoulder, "Don't worry, no matter what Sanira does next, we can handle it easily."
Now that Sanira had completely revealed her intentions, dealing with her wouldn't be as troublesome as before.
Initially, Charlotte thought this woman would slowly approach Luna like a frog in warm water, but now it seemed that she was losing patience too.
"Do you feel any changes in your body?" Charlotte smiled and asked.
Sofia coughed and said, "In the morning, I have some morning sickness, but other than that, everything's fine."
Charlotte took the opportunity to say to her, "It seems you're quite adaptable. But if you two get married, you can't continue to rely on my family. You should have your own new life."
Newlyweds should have their own space. She couldn't let Sofia continue to be so dependent on her.
