Chapter 767

Steven smiled and approached Taylor. "Your father has quite the skills. He managed to extend your life a few more days." "Curing my poison is probably the greatest achievement of your medical career. But you won't live for long," Taylor said calmly. Steven smiled again. He raised his hand and struck Taylor across the face. "You're begging for death!" Taylor was furious and tried to attack Steven. "Outrageous!" Jonah shouted in anger, raising his hand sharply. A wave of energy flew out, sealing Taylor's pressure points and making him unable to move. "Dr. Lewis, you—" Keaton was shocked, not understanding what Steven was doing. "Are you going back on your words, Steven?" Zeke was alarmed. He stepped forward quickly and blocked Steven. The smile on his face was replaced with a dark, stern look as he stared at him intently. "Are you blind? I'm treating him. Can't you see?" Steven grabbed Taylor's right hand and removed his glove. Taylor's right hand, which had been as black as ink, was slowly returning to its original color. Everyone was stunned. "I'm using a special technique to massage his acupuncture points. It's my exclusive detoxification method. If you don't understand it, don't overreact okay?" Steven looked at the slightly bewildered Zeke and replied disdainfully. "An exclusive detoxification method? That was a clear insult to my son. Can't you use something like acupuncture instead?" Zeke became furious. He wasn't foolish. He could see that Steven was taking this opportunity for revenge! "I could've easily used acupuncture to detoxify him. I could've also just given him a simple pill to detoxify him, but…" Steven smiled, staring at him as he replied, "I just wanted to slap him in the face. Not happy about it? Then I simply won't cure him." "You!" Zeke glared at him, grinding his teeth. But Steven's face still held a mischievous smile, not showing any intentions of backing down. Turning to Jonah, Zeke shouted angrily, "General Lewis, won't you do something about this?" There was a loud smack! Jonah raised his hand and slapped Zeke hard. His eyes were so cold that it sent shivers down everyone's spine. "I've tolerated you long enough, Zeke. Dr. Lewis is willing to treat your son, and you're still being picky? Do you think I'll give in? Do you really think I'm someone you can push around? "Say one more word of nonsense, and I'll change my mind!" Zeke's face had a clear handprint, and he looked upset but dared not speak further. He knew that Jonah had given in once today, and that was his limit! Jonah was like a spring, being compressed to its maximum limit! If Zeke pushed any further, the spring would snap and he would get hurt! With a deep breath, the anger on his face disappeared. Instead, a warm smile appeared as he stepped back. He said, "I misspoke and offended both Dr. Lewis and you, General Lewis. As an outsider, I didn't understand Dr. Lewis' brilliant methods. Please go ahead." Steven glanced at him mockingly but saw the hidden rage behind Zeke's smiling face. He realized that he had thoroughly provoked this cunning man who hid behind a smile. Zeke was now like an overly inflated balloon, ready to burst with just a little more pressure.
