Chapter 7269
Thud!
Beresford and the others could only watch in disbelief as the once high-and-mighty Micah dropped to his knees without hesitation.
"Greetings, Mr. Representative! Everything that happened tonight is all just a misunderstanding! It's our fault… We're blind to greatness when we see it… We shouldn't have caused trouble here, and we shouldn't have disrespected Ms. Lanny! We sincerely hope you'll give us a chance to make things right."
It was at this moment that Micah finally understood. Resistance was futile against a living legend like Harvey. He could forget about doing anything to Harvey—especially when the legendary top True Warrior in Lost City only survived three rounds against him.
Micah probably couldn't survive the first round. Not to mention, if he did make his move, the Knights Templar might suffer irrecoverable losses.
Micah's expression turned even bitter as he thought og this.
He once again pleaded, "Please give us another chance, Mr. Representative. Have mercy."
Beresford and others stood stunned, the corners of their lips twitching; they couldn't process what they were witnessing. The beautiful women among them even slapped their own faces just to make sure they weren't dreaming.
What was happening before them was simply unreal.
"You want another chance?" Harvey asked as he narrowed his eyes. "Fine—seeing that you know what's good for you and that you have some awareness, I can give you this much leeway and spare your lives. An arm or a leg. Choose. Break it, and you can then get out of here."
Micah couldn't say anything.
Beresford already asked with a gulp, "You… Are you really that man from the legends…?"
He still couldn't believe it. How could someone as plain-looking as Harvey be a living legend? However, the badge couldn't be faked.
"If you prefer I wasn't him, go ahead. Do it," Harvey said with a shrug. "But I'm on a tight schedule. I'll give you one minute. Either cripple yourselves or attack me. Choose. But if you decide to do that, you'll have to suffer the full consequences."
The proud men and women of Lost City trembled at those words. They knew exactly what Harve's legends meant.
To attack a living legend like him…that was pure suicide.
Beresford gritted his teeth. "Mr. Harvey, this is our first meeting. Surely you understand that you can't pin the blame on us for not knowing and that there's no need to pursue us until the end? I hope you'll give us a chance, for Lost City's sake…"
"Lost City means nothing to me," Harvey said calmly.
Lanny pulled out her phone and turned on an application. The countdown timer started, and she held it in front of them.
One by one, the so-called elites couldn't help but feel their eyes twitch as they looked at the ticking numbers.
Seeing that Harvey had no regard for him, Beresford burned with desperation.
"Harvey! I know you're strong, but I'm not some random nobody! I'm the Junior Commander of the Knights Templar! Are you sure you want to attack me?!"
