Chapter 7268
"Useless!"
Harvey kicked Micah hard and sent him sprawling to the floor.
Micah got back to his feet, his eye twitching uncontrollably. He stayed silent and didn't resist. He simply lowered his arms as he looked at Harvey.
Beresford was fuming. "Are you out of your mind, Micah? You are the Knights Templar's elite, and my guardian! How can you let someone beat you like this? Do you know just how much embarrassment you have caused me?
"I'm ordering you to take him down right now, no matter who this guy is or what he is capable of! Cripple him! Kill him! I'll take full responsibility for what happened afterward!"
Beresford was practically losing himself to anger.
Beresford had always been the one to humiliate others. He didn't expect that someone was already humiliating him on his very first day in Grand City. Beresford couldn't accept any of this. He needed to be the one in the limelight…not getting humiliated out of nowhere like this.
If word got out, how was he supposed to keep his image? How was he supposed to maintain his reputation and status?
Harvey ignored Beresford and calmly said, "Go ahead. Make a move. I'll give you the chance."
"Junior Commander, calm down!" Micah quickly stopped Beresford and his group from doing anything stupid in a stern tone. "The badge he just tossed out is the badge belonging to the Knights Templar's top True Warrior, and there's only half of it. You're all with the Knight Templars. You know what this means!"
Half of the top True Warrior's badge?
All of them froze, and their bodies stiffened. Their faces turned pale with fear and disbelief.
They all came from the Knights Templar, and they had heard the rumors.
For instance, the tale of the top True Warrior lost to another True Warrior from Country H in just three moves. Just as the top warrior believed that he was going to die, his opponent simply took half his badge, saying that he had the potential to become even stronger. He looked forward to fighting him again once he had become stronger.
In the end, due to the internal injuries he suffered from this battle, the Knights Templar became an alcoholic after returning from the Battlefield.
Because of that, the other half of the badge became taboo among the Knights Templar.
"Are…are you the one from back then?" Micah asked with a strained voice. "But you're so young. How could you be him? But then again, that only happened six years ago…"
Micah's expression turned even bitter.
According to rumors, it was said that he had reached the realm that most True Warriors could never reach in just under two years after joining the army. If the one who tossed the badge was an old man, Micah might be shocked, but wouldn't be intimidated.
But when the one who tossed the badge was a young man who was humiliating the Knights Templar, he had no choice but to reconsider his identity.
When Micah realized that Harvey might be the living legend, he almost dropped to his knees.
Harvey didn't expect that Micah knew about him. He didn't hide it at all and calmly said, "What? Do you have a problem with that?"
