Chapter 1177
Reuben and Casey had smiles on their faces.
In truth, Reuben liked Gloria very much. He had been mesmerized by her maturity and gorgeousness the moment he laid eyes on her. After all, he had not come into contact with many women. To him, Gloria was like an angel. Sadly, she was not meant for him.
He said excitedly, "Hey guys, it’s been a while. Did you just get back from Bortuguesa?"
Casey added, "You look well, Theo."
"Thank you for everything you did for us before, Casey." Adrian was referring to the suitcases.
Casey smiled and replied, "Don't mention it. It's the least we could do. By the way, how are you feeling, Ms. Sia? Was the treatment successful?"
Reuben added, "That's right, how's your illness? You look much better than back on the ship."
Gloria chuckled. "I'm fine. I'm completely cured now. Thank you for asking."
"That's good." Casey nodded. He then gestured and continued, "Let's get to the car. We'll talk more on the way. I’ll be taking you to a private jet that’ll fly you back to Novemton."
Adrian nodded, and they all headed toward Casey's car. During their journey to the outskirts of Sormbay City, Casey said, "Novemton sent a private jet to pick you up a few days ago. It's parked at a private airport on the city outskirts. You'll be taking the jet out of Sormbay.”
Gloria smiled. "Thank you for everything, Casey."
He chuckled. "You're very welcome. I'm a Novemtoner myself. We wouldn't get to enjoy days like this if not for the things you've done. This is the least we can do to thank you."
"Sure.” Gloria nodded and turned toward Reuben. "Come to Swallowston when you have the time. We'll go out and have some fun."
Reuben nodded. "I'll take a few days off once Uncle Casey and I are done with our upcoming trip. I'll go to Swallowston and look for you then. By the way, do all of you live there?"
"That's Adrian's hometown. I'll be putting down roots there. Come and have some fun when you can. We've got some excellent food there."
"Sure, I'll be there when I get the chance."
Gloria nodded with a smile. Her heart was filled with excitement at the thought of arriving home soon, where her family and loved ones were waiting. She planned to live the rest of her life in happiness. Finally, she would be like everyone else—staying home and spending time with her family and enjoying the warmth it brought.
The group arrived at the outskirts of Sormbay City after fifty minutes. Someone with deep pockets had built a private airport here. Casey drove into the airport after flashing his papers, where a plane bearing Novemton's logo was parked.
Once the car stopped, Casey said, "This is it. Let's meet up again in Novemton when we can.”
