Chapter 681
Yvonne was furious as she looked at the scratches on Lorraine's face. "Even if Tobby's father isn't an ordinary person. He can't bully people as he likes!"
The teacher was utterly helpless and pleaded, "Please calm down. Don't make them angry."
Upon hearing this, she nearly lost control of her emotions. "If my face was scratched like that, I could stay calm because I'm already old, but he scratched my granddaughter's face!
"I will not let this go! Call his parents and ask them to come here!"
The teacher became even more concerned because she feared the aftermath when Tobby's parents arrived.
At this moment, rapid footsteps echoed in the hallway, as did the voice of a furious woman. "Who dares mess with my son?"
Soon, a woman dressed in a long skirt with perfectly applied makeup and carrying a Prada bag entered the room.
When the woman saw the teacher, she grimaced. "What's going on? I sent my son here, and this is how you care for him?"
The teacher's expression dropped, and she coughed awkwardly before informing her, "Tobby scratched Lorraine's face until it bled. Since it's a serious matter, we decided to call you in."
Upon hearing the teacher's words, Sophia seemed agitated. She had wanted to send her son to a prominent private school where all the students were from affluent families and had good manners. Since it was too far away, they sent him here instead.
Her opinion of this kindergarten was that the environment was terrible, the parents came from various professions, and many had bad manners.
She had been out shopping with her friends when the school contacted her and asked her to come.
Now that Sophia was there, the teacher was going on and on without mentioning her son, which enraged her.
"Why did Tobby scratch the girl and not anyone else? Could it be that she provoked him? Perhaps she bullied my son!"
The teacher knew about Sophia's unreasonable personality but hadn't anticipated her to turn things around like this.
"I was there when it happened. The children were lining up to drink water when Tobby suddenly scratched Lorraine. There was no disagreement between them, and it just came out of nowhere."
Sophia snorted. "Then why didn't he scratch anyone else?"
Her question left the teacher dumbfounded. She wanted to explain more but realized it was meaningless, so she kept quiet.
When Yvonne saw that the teacher wouldn't say anything further, she stepped forward and pointed at Lorraine.
"Tobby's mother, look at what your son had done to my granddaughter's face. All I ask is for him to apologize to her and promise not to hurt her again."
Sophia's eyes widened at the request, and she retorted, "What are you thinking, old hag? I'm not even sure if my son was wounded!"
Yvonne was so furious that her hands began to tremble. "The teacher already said your son wasn't hurt."
Sophia responded coldly, "He might not be hurt physically, but what about emotionally? If he's traumatized by your demand for an apology, it may leave him scarred for life.
"You're old, shouldn't you be forgiving to children? Have you learned nothing after living for so long, old hag?"
Yvonne was so furious that her entire body trembled. She could only repeat the word "you" three times before turning speechless. She'd never met someone so unreasonable.
When Sophia saw her struggle to speak, she smirked and threatened, "You better pray nothing's wrong with my son, or I'll make sure you pay!"
Then, she turned to the teacher and stated, "I'm going to check on my son in the classroom." With that, she began to walk away.
Upon seeing this, Yvonne instantly grabbed her arm. "You can't leave! My granddaughter is hurt, and we haven't talked it through yet."
Sophia burst out in anger and forcefully shoved her. "Get out of my way!"
Yvonne staggered several steps before collapsing on the floor.
Just then, Matthew came in and saw such a scene. He charged forward, helped her up, and inspected her without hesitation. "Yvonne, are you okay?"
A frown appeared on Yvonne's face, but she disregarded the pain in her legs and prioritized Lorraine.
"It's that woman! Her son clawed Lorraine's face. I asked her son to apologize, but she not only refused, she even accused me of traumatizing him. Now she's even causing problems for me."
