Cressida laughed as though she had heard the funniest joke in the world. "Why should I?"
"Because of you, she's locked herself in the lounge, refusing to see anyone!" Luther's temper flared. "What the hell did you say to her? Did you have to provoke her like that?"
"I didn't say anything." Cressida brushed past him, moving forward without pause. "She's just a sore loser."
"Cressida!" He grabbed her arm with a force that threatened to crack her bones. "Do you really have to be so ruthless? She's your sister!"
"She isn't." Cressida yanked her arm free. "From the day she plotted to marry me off to you, she was no longer my sister."
"You—" Luther couldn't find the words to rebut her.
"Apologize to her, or you're not leaving here today," he demanded shamelessly.
