Chapter 118 We're Relieved
Fury blazed through Cressida. Tristan's relentless pressure had pushed her past her limit. She was done talking with him. All she wanted was for him to get out of her apartment and away from Daphne.
"Let go of me! Tristan, get out of my house!" she snapped, yanking at her wrist and shoving his shoulder with her free hand.
The push made Tristan step back, but his grip stayed firm. Desperate, she stumbled forward and tried to wrench her wrist free.
She forgot about her injured left ankle. The moment her weight shifted onto it, a sharp pain shot up her leg.
She cried out as she lost her balance, but she didn't hit the floor.
