Chapter 287

Dylan was stunned. "I didn't tell her anything about that." Nelson pursed his lips. So, she didn't come to him because of Adam. Dylan sat down and asked, "Did Sabrina call you?" Nelson nodded and replied, "I thought she wanted to ask about Adam, so I didn't reply." Dylan slapped his forehead and exclaimed, "Mr. Tucker, you're killing me here. You messed up at a critical moment. When I was having dinner with a client, I ran into Sabrina. She was with Elijah, and they seemed very close." Nelson clenched his teeth and remained silent. "At this point, you should stop being so stubborn. Or do you not plan on getting back with her?" "She's with Elijah now. How can she get back with me?" Nelson replied. In truth, he couldn't bear to think about Sabrina being with someone else or that someone else would see her beauty. Nelson took a deep breath. "You stay here. I'm going back." Dylan sighed inwardly. He knew Nelson couldn't hold it in or let go. … Sabrina couldn't understand why Nelson didn't tell her about Adam. Now, all leads and information about Adam were cut off. Sabrina visited Simon, who mentioned he had spoken with the designer. There was a book titled "Jewelry". It was filled with images of flowers, plants, and insects from nature, which was the designer's source of inspiration. He also mentioned that Nelson had browsed through this book last time. "Jewelry" was more of a collection of her father's designs rather than a book. His inspirations came from either flowers and plants or the textures of certain insects. She had told Nelson about this book. Simon also mentioned that Nelson had taken the book. Even after all this time, Nelson hadn't told her anything about her brother. "Mr. Nash, could you give me the designer's address?" Sabrina asked. The designer wasn't in the city. Sabrina asked Eva to book a flight. She needed to meet this person and find out what was happening. She wondered if Adam was still alive. "I'll go with you," Elijah offered. Sabrina didn't want to trouble Elijah. "I can go alone." "Sabrina, don't be stubborn. You can't be left alone now," Elijah said firmly. He couldn't allow her to go alone. What if something happened? Sabrina didn't insist further. They headed to the airport from Slitton. Meanwhile, Nelson received a call from Simon during his transit in Brostet City. He informed Nelson that Sabrina and Elijah had gone to Summerton City to look for the designer. Nelson's expression darkened, and he immediately changed his plans. … Sabrina was exhausted when she arrived at Summerton City. The designer lived in the suburbs of Southerby, and she wanted to see him that very night. "You need to rest now." Elijah refused her request. "I don't want to. I'm afraid something might go wrong." Elijah's expression hardened. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and said, "Sabrina, you have to think beyond yourself right now. You're with child. Don't do anything you might regret. Trust me." Sabrina remained silent. Elijah took her bag and helped her out of the airport. She had eaten little and traveled a lot, and her body couldn't take it. At the hotel, Sabrina leaned on the couch in pain. Her legs were aching, and her stomach was cramping. She started to panic. "Elijah... I'm not feeling well."
