Chapter 283
After Abigail said that, she regretted it. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah. I'm just not used to it yet," answered Sabrina. She didn't know why she kept throwing up. She felt extremely sick as she had puked so many times.
"I'm sorry, Brina. I wanted to help you, but I think you'll just be perturbed by it right now," said Abigail. She thought about how much Sabrina was suffering because she was pregnant with Nelson's child.
However, Nelson was being lovey-dovey with another woman. Abigail was angry on behalf of Sabrina. She found it unjust. When Sabrina loved Nelson, she suffered a lot. Now that she had gotten a divorce, she was still suffering.
"No, this is normal. I want to take a nap," said Sabrina.
The pregnancy made her sleepy. The more she puked, the more she wanted to sleep. She didn't feel well. She figured that her energy wasn't enough to cope with the tasks at hand every day.
…
Nelson was still in Atrulia. He needed to find out the truth of this matter. Otherwise, he wouldn't be rest assured.
It was like what Jackson said. There would always be crises in Tucker Group, but nothing ever happened because they were capable.
Nelson was going to take over Tucker Group in the future, so all crises had to be nipped in the bud. He stayed in Atrulia and pulled out all the financial reports from the past decade. He flipped through them one by one to seek the problem.
On the next day, he continued to study the reports. On the other hand, Fiona didn't give up on him. She was in the same film crew as Abigail, but she didn't have a lot of scenes. She would deliberately linger around Abigail.
Although Abigail ignored Fiona, Fiona would pester her. "Abigail, I'm going on a date with Nelson. I might not return tonight."
Abigail rolled her eyes. "What does it have to do with me?"
"I hope your best friend doesn't disturb us," responded Fiona. At the mention of Sabrina, she gritted her teeth.
When Abigail heard that, she was upset. She cursed Nelson in her heart. She heard from Chelsea that Sabrina looked exhausted these days. On the other hand, Nelson was sleeping with another woman.
Abigail even wanted Sabrina to abort the child since the pregnancy was a torment. Nevertheless, as she was in Atrulia, she couldn't find out what Sabrina was thinking. She could only wait.
Fiona went to Nelson because they used to know each other. Although it was impossible for them to be together, he didn't embarrass her by prohibiting her from coming. As she came to the office often, the employees of the branch office in Atrulia were polite to her.
Some of the employees even asked Hank if Fiona was Nelson's girlfriend. Hank was an intelligent person. He didn't clarify or acknowledge it. He only smiled. His actions didn't affect Fiona's dignity. Thus, she was fond of him.
At this time, Hank entered and left the meeting room with Nelson's phone.
"Why is Nelson so stern? Are personal phones not allowed in the meeting room?"
Hank nodded. "Mr. Tucker is very professional."
Nelson never brought his phone into the meeting room. If there was an urgent matter, Hank would write the message on a piece of paper and hand it over to him. Then, he would deal with the matters based on priorities.
They had all gotten used to it as it had already been a few years. Then, Nelson's phone rang. Upon seeing that it was a call from Sabrina, Hank was polite. "Ms. Wyatt."
"Is Mr. Tucker still busy?"
"Yes."
Sabrina was silent for a while before saying, "Mr. Stiller, please convey this to Nelson. I'm pregnant. What's his plan with the child?"
Hank was stunned. "W-What did you say? Alright, I'll have Mr. Tucker give you a call immediately."
Sabrina ended the call and lay on the couch in her office again. She had to tell Nelson about the child sooner or later.
Ten minutes later, she received a message from Nelson. The words, "Abort it", broke her heart.
