Chapter 278
Sabrina was slightly taken aback. It was dim inside the car. She stared at Nelson for a while before saying, "Nelson, I'm tired."
It was true. She had been busy with work recently. Although they had gotten a divorce, he got into a car accident on the same day and kept showing up in front of her. So, she had to stay vigilant at all times. She never relaxed.
"Right now, I just want to spend my days without you. I want to love myself properly."
Nelson closed his eyes and leaned closer to her, trapping her in the passenger's seat. Then, he kissed her.
Naturally, Sabrina tried to get away from him, but no matter how much she struggled, it was all in vain. Her hands were grabbed, and she fell under his control.
Gradually, Nelson's forceful kisses became gentle. He held her face with one hand and kissed her affectionately. He missed her a lot.
"Sabrina, you're all I can think of," he mumbled with his lips on hers. He was gentle and affectionate.
Since Sabrina couldn't push him away, she bit his lips harshly. Even though his lips had started to bleed, he didn't want to let her go.
Nelson would rather be in pain than let her go. He liked her. He believed that he loved her.
Sabrina tried to break free from him but failed. She had also bitten his lips, yet he still didn't want to let go of her. She used up all of her energy, but he was still unmoved. He even started to kiss her neck.
Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Aside from using force, what else can you do?"
She was extremely disappointed in Nelson and herself.
Nelson caressed her cheeks and wiped away her tears. "Sabrina, you still have feelings for me."
Sabrina didn't even want to say a word. As if she was a puppet, she let him mess with her clothes.
Nelson wasn't going to do anything to her, but he couldn't help it as he was facing the woman he liked. He let go of her hands and lifted her before making her sit on his legs.
The two of them squeezed into the narrow driver's seat. It had been a long time since they had been so intimate with each other. Nelson liked it a lot.
He buried his face in her neck. "Sabrina, please give me another chance."
Without saying a word, Sabrina looked out the window. Her stance was obvious.
"Please just give me one more chance. I promise I won't disappoint you."
Sabrina lowered her gaze and stared at Nelson indifferently.
"Nelson, can I make a request in the light of who I used to be?"
"Of course."
In the past, Sabrina saved Nelson, and they loved each other. After finding her, he had never properly discussed it with her. Upon thinking of that, he felt guilty. He should have treated her better.
"In exchange for the past, I want you to stop showing up in front of me," said Sabrina without hesitation. She didn't leave room for negotiation and wanted to draw a clear line between him.
Nelson was taken aback. When they were getting a divorce, she didn't use the past to make a deal. She never used his soft spot to exchange for anything.
He was in disbelief. "Sabrina, must you hurt me?"
Sabrina didn't answer. Instead, she just looked at him. "Do you agree or not?"
She was in Nelson's embrace. The embrace was very intimate, but he couldn't sense her heart.
"Sabrina, if I agree, I won't be waiting for you in the same spot anymore. Change your request."
Nelson's pride didn't allow it. He had compromised again and again. It was embarrassing to him.
"I won't change it," answered Sabrina. The moments they spent together in the past were sweet and hopeful. That was why she had walked toward him without hesitation.
She didn't expect she would use their past to cut him out of her life. She didn't know if she would regret it in the future, but at this moment, she only wanted to get away from him.
