The danger had blown over for now, so the two let go of their worries and fully dove into their rare girls' day out.
Shopping, strolling, sipping on afternoon tea, catching up on everything recent-
It was like they got to relive those carefree teenage days all over again.
By the time the city lights flickered on with the darkening sky, they finally wrapped things up, still a bit reluctant.
"Want me to have Oscar drive you home?" Cassandra offered, not too reassured.
"It's okay." Delia gave a small shake of her head, jingling her car keys. "I drove today. The villa's just fifteen minutes away anyway. And you've already done enough today."
Cassandra waved her off softly. "Alright. Text me when you get home, alright?"
