Chapter 163

"What do you think you're doing?" Luna froze for a moment. When she turned around, she saw the president of the student council, Andrew, walking over with several student council members. "Good afternoon, Andrew." The group of girls immediately greeted him respectfully. Andrew held a lot of authority within the academy. Even troublemakers like Luna had to show him some respect. Luna explained patiently, "Andrew, Yolanda is too arrogant. We just wanted to warn her and make sure she knows her place in the future." Andrew's expression turned even colder upon hearing this. "Shut up! Yolanda is my boss. Whatever she wants to do is none of your concern." Luna was stunned. How did Yolanda get Andrew's backing? After scolding Luna, Andrew immediately turned to Yolanda. The icy expression on his face melted away instantly. It was replaced by a flattering smile as he said, "Ma'am, if you run into something like this again, just let me handle it. I'll be there whenever you need me." "Andrew, you…" Luna was dumbfounded. She never would have imagined that Andrew would treat Yolanda so deferentially. Yolanda was just an ugly, fat loser, while Andrew was the eldest son of the general manager of Doxcon Group! Why? How could Yolanda have that kind of influence? But no matter how furious Luna felt at that moment, she didn't dare to say a single bad word about Yolanda. After all, if Andrew was willing to side with Yolanda, she must have had some backing that Luna couldn't afford to mess with. "What are you staring at? Get lost already!" Andrew shot an impatient glare at Luna. Luna didn't dare to argue and quickly slinked away with her group of girls. "Next time, deal with things more discreetly. There's no need to be so flashy," Yolanda reminded Andrew impassively. Then, without another word, she turned and walked toward the academy gates. "Yes, ma'am. You're absolutely right! I didn't think it through." Andrew nodded at her advice, agreeing wholeheartedly. A few moments later, Luna stormed back to her classroom. She started slamming desks and chairs in her anger, making a loud racket. "There's no need to get so upset, Luna," one of her lackeys tried to console her. "That Yolanda must have some serious backing. Otherwise, why would Andrew treat her with such respect?" Still, Luna couldn't swallow her anger. "There are plenty of people with connections in this school. What gives her the right to be so arrogant?" "Going head-to-head with her won't work. So, how about this? Let's report her to the academy's board of directors." "Report her?" Luna frowned upon hearing her lackey's suggestion. "Will that work?" "Of course it will!" the lackey exclaimed. Then, she hastily explained, "There are so many students at our academy with powerful families. I'm sure many of them are already unhappy with Yolanda. "If we fan the flames a little and band together, we can accuse her of ruining the academy's image and have parents complain to the board. By then, even Mr. Coleman won't be able to come to her rescue! "And no matter how powerful Yolanda's backing is, she can't silence everyone single-handedly. Just having a few of the top families at this school join forces would be enough to take her down."
