Chapter 153
"Fuck you!" This was the first time Bryce, usually known for being a model student, let out a curse.
"Hey, what's wrong with Prince Bryce?"
"I saw him running into Prince Gavin earlier. It must be because of that seductress!"
"Seductress?"
"Yolanda, of course!"
A tall girl sneered. "That ugly creature? How can she be called a seductress?"
"Don't underestimate her. Although she's ugly, she's way craftier than a seductress. She managed to steal the campus belle's boyfriend and now has both top school hunks fighting over her. Tsk, tsk."
"I heard Yvonne is engaged to Gavin. Yolanda actually stole her sister's boyfriend? That's so shameless!"
"Of course. What kind of girl with any self-respect would use such despicable means to seduce her sister's fiancé and play both sides?"
Although these ladies were very displeased with Yolanda's actions, most of them were more envious than angry.
How could Yolanda, who looked like that, attract two top-notch guys when they couldn't even get noticed?
Both Gavin and Bryce had always ignored them at the academy. Now, these two aloof school hunks were suddenly fawning over Yolanda, one after the other. The ladies simply couldn't accept it.
"A new student being so arrogant must be taught a lesson! We can't let her be so reckless!"
"Exactly! This is a place for learning, not for her to do these disgraceful things!"
"We need to come up with a plan."
…
Yolanda and Brigham had lunch at Paragon Restaurant near Starry Gemworks. As they finished and were about to pay the bill, Brigham suddenly received a phone call.
He spoke briefly and quietly to the caller before hanging up and apologizing to Yolanda with a smile. "Ms. Henderson, a friend of mine needs your help. Could you take a look at them if you have time?"
"What are the symptoms?"
Although Brigham hadn't specified, Yolanda understood that the help he mentioned was likely a medical consultation. Yolanda took another sip of her coffee and pressed the service bell to order more.
After the waiter left, Brigham started to explain, "My friend and I have known each other for many years. He's a few years older than me. He—"
"Stop." Yolanda interrupted him directly. "Just tell me the symptoms."
She was here to provide medical help, not to gather personal information.
"Well, he…"
Before Brigham could continue, there was a rush of footsteps from outside the room. Following that, the door was pushed open.
"We're here, Brigham. Where's the so-called miracle doctor?"
The young man who entered looked to be in his early 30s, and he was followed by a slender woman. He scanned the private room. When he didn't see the person he was looking for, a hint of anxiety flashed in his eyes.
"Calm down, Jeremy. Let me introduce you." Brigham stood up and addressed Yolanda first. "Ms. Henderson, these are my friends, Jeremy Granger and his wife, Cianna Lovell.
"They've been married for five years but still have no children. They've had medical checkups, and everything seems normal. They heard about you and wanted you to check them out to see if there's any underlying issue.
"Jeremy, Cianna, this is Ms. Yolanda Henderson, the miracle doctor I mentioned."
Jeremy and Cianna were initially hopeful. However, upon hearing Brigham's introduction of Yolanda, they were taken aback.
"You're saying she's the miracle doctor?"
