Leonard and Luke Were Kidnapped
The Hurricane Mercenary Group disbanded after their leader fell, his hand severed, leaving him a wasted man. Only a dozen loyal subordinates remain by his side.
Upon hearing that Blackwater is actively recruiting, drawing quite a few men from their ranks, the leader of the Hurricanes was angered. Blackwater is now temporarily residing in the headquarters of God's Armaments, enjoying an infinite amount of prestige in the Chadron.
The leader of the Hurricane, enraged and with bloodshot eyes, let out a roar that erupted from his throat.
"Boss, the doctor said you couldn't get too agitated."
"Boss, there's still hope for your hand. I heard in country M there is a doctor named Seely. With one swing of his surgical knife, he can revive the dead and mend the broken. I firmly believe he can cure your hand."
Upon hearing this, the leader of the Hurricane calmed down, his eyes locked onto his men, gasping to ask, "Are you telling the truth?"
"It's true," several men proclaimed as they confidently entered the sickroom.
"Who are you?" the members of the Hurricane asked defensively.
The leader of the Hurricane looked at the newcomers. The leader of the group, appearing somewhat frail and short compared to the mercenaries in continent M, had a Southeast Asian face.
Strikingly, this man had a terrifying scar that split half of his face, caused by a knife on his left eye. There were also large patches of fresh scar tissue on his neck, looking as if they were burned or caused by an explosion.
"What your subordinate said is true, your hand can be healed by Dr. Seely. That's not hard, the difficult part is finding him." Isaias said, addressing the bedridden leader of the Hurricanes after entering.
"Can you find him?" asked the leader of the Hurricanes, looking at the man.
Isaias: "Of course I can."
The leader of the Hurricane: "Who are you? What are your intentions?"
"I'm here to collaborate with you."
"Collaborate with me, a useless person with a broken hand tendons?"
Isais pointed at the people in the ward with his cigarette-holding hand. "You have a dozen loyal subordinates left, and I need them."
"Why should I trust you?"
"You have no other choices. Doctor Seely isn't an ordinary doctor who can be consulted just because you have money. I have some connection with him. Only I can find him and have him treat you."
Intuition told the Hurricane boss that this man couldn't be trusted.
Indeed, he couldn't be trusted,
Isais didn't even meet this legendary doctor, nor did he know the doctor's gender. Let alone having connection or being able to find him for a consultation, which is complete nonsense.
Certainly, he wouldn't know that the doctor is the famous Jade, who had long ago lost her life in the sea, the one who bombed his camp and turned him into this neither-human-nor-ghost Valentina.
Even more so, she was the Blackwater boss who picked at the Hurricane boss's hand tendons.

Members of Blackwater were busy every day. Zak, being the youngest in the team, naturally managed to skive. Everyone doted on him, and after helping Bruno select few passable new members, he sneaked away and wandered around with God Armed Alliance.
As he was wandering, he unknowingly reached the villa where Valentina was located. Although Zak recognized this new boss, his obsession with the unknown was too deep, so he found it hard to face Valentina for a while.
After hesitating for a long time, Zak decides to leave.
Just then, Leonard came out of the villa.
Upon hearing Leonard say that there was a bit of a situation in the mine, the bored Saku decided to go along with him.
Seeing it as a favor to Valentina, Leonard took him along.
Of course, Leonard had ulterior motives, and started questioning Saku about Valentina as soon as they got into the car, "Have you known your boss for a long time?"
Saku: "I bumped into him in a hotel a few days before the Horn-fight club meeting."
"Why did she choose you guys then? I see her feelings for you Blackwater folks doesn't seem like she's just met you. Do you guys know her real identity?" William-in forbade any inquiries, but Leonard was dying of curiosity.
Firing one question after another, Saku was not stupid, he simply didn't tell Leonard how he, Valentina, and their former boss, Unknown, knew each other.
Instead, he countered, “I wanted to ask you too, what is the relationship between your boss and my boss?”
Leonard: "Just... ordinary friends."
"Ordinary friends? Then why doesn’t our boss live with us, preferring to stay with your boss instead? It’s not as if we don’t have a room back home. And during the days of the Horn-fight club, your boss was with my boss, right? Both of them are from Thawville. Would your boss bother to provide us a place to stay for free, let us live without cost, and even help us establish our base if he doesn't have some thoughts about my boss?
Watching Saku ramble on, Leonard posed a soul-searching question out of nowhere: "Did you really just meet your boss?"
Saku: "What's wrong?"
Leonard: "You two are absolutely identical. Your boss also reframes my boss's words in such an upright and straightforward way. Every time."
Saku snorted.
Leonard: "Speaking of which, your Mandarin is pretty good."
Saku: "Indeed, I specifically learned it for my boss."
Leonard: "Miss Ricardo?"
Luke: "No-Name."
The two toured the mine, but nothing major occurred.
However, on their way back, an accident happened.
Valentina sat on the window ledge of her room, viewing the scenery and leisurely sipping a bottle of red wine.
She saw a group of people in a hurried rush not far away.
Lifting her head, she took another sip, and then placed the wine bottle back on the window ledge.
She exited the room, headed downstairs.
As soon as she stepped out of the main door, she bumped into a few more people in a fluster.
"What's going on?" Valentina stopped one of them to ask.
The man surveyed Valentina, hesitating whether to explain or not.
Valentina raised her voice slightly emanating a more assertive tone.
Considering that this man was aware of how Valentina had fought against thirty-five opponents in the arena, he felt a little intimidated by her. Moreover, Valentina had a special relationship with their boss.
Hence, when Valentina asked, he unconsciously responded: "Something happened to Assistant Leng on his way back from the mines."
Having said that, he hastily retreated.
When they arrived at the monitor room, that person noticed that Valentina followed him inside.
He didn't dare to say anything, nor did he dare to send her away, so he could only pretend he didn't see her.
Upon entering, Valentina saw in the surveillance room, filled with high-end advanced electronic equipment, a dozen technicians sat in front of computers or at the control desks.
At a glance, it was all densely packed with data.
"What's going on with the person?" Valentina went over to the man from before, asking a question.
This man's standing within God Arms should be second only to Leonard. He held quite some say in this monitor room.
"From what we can see now, he was kidnapped by an unknown person, and we are currently locating Assistant Leng's position," After a moment of silence, the man still said, "Every person in God Arms has a locator implanted under their skin."
Valentina's first reaction: That's extravagant.
She asked again, "What's the situation now?"
"The adversary used a jammer, it’s very difficult to locate the position. Our best computer technician is usually Assistant Leng, but Assistant Leng... "
Leonard? Valentina recalled the scuffle from the other night, could the hacker before William was actually Leonard?
Judging from his method at that time, he is probably Q on the hackers' chart.
I didn't see it coming~
But shouldn't William be the one with the best technology?
"Where is your boss?" Valentina asked.
"Isn't it just a matter of time before William takes action? Look how serious their expression is."
"Our boss has gone to the neighboring state."
Valentina suddenly remembered that William had left the house, she had just spoken with him this morning.
Her room was upstairs, while William was downstairs at the time. He had specifically come upstairs to inform her of his departure.
Although she was visibly calm at the time, she felt inexplicably alarmed.
Then someone said, "The kidnapper's call."
That person quickly operated something and then connected the call.
The kidnapper's voice rang out from the computer, "If you want this fellow's life, have William meet me alone in Montana, S state. I want to see him tonight!"
The person on the other side was very cautious and used a voice modulator.
Despite this, Valentina was able to discern a Southeast Asian accent from the kidnapper's awkward English.
It was Isaias.
The call was abruptly ended after that.
Fortunately, the tech team was able to track the location of the kidnapper's phone. Even though he was using a signal jammer, they were able to detect a faint signal.
After a while, they managed to locate the kidnapper's phone.
“The target's signal is currently moving rapidly. The location is locked down in Kansas, presumably heading towards S State. Unable to confirm whether Assistant Leng is in their vehicle," someone reported.
"Let me give it a try." Valentina finally spoke up.
Only then did everyone notice Valentina in the surveillance room.
They all gave her a quick glance before continuing their tasks, seemingly ignoring her comment.
A man of some authority by the control panel frowned, "Who let her in? Don't they know this is a restricted area?"
Valentina also frowned slightly, looking displeased at the man.
If it weren't for the fact she was indirectly involved in the bombing of Isaias's stronghold that involved Leonard, and William wasn't around, she wouldn't even bother.
Bruno and Badman hurried in looking frantic, "Luke is in trouble," they informed Valentina when they saw her.
