William Went to Chadron

Valentina slightly narrowed her eyes, carefully looking at the brightly lit building in the distance, and said to herself, "Is it repaired?" The God Armed Alliance was a force in Chadron that no one dared to mess with. The rumors about its behind-the-scenes boss were legendary. But they ran into Victoria, who feared nothing and dared to challenge. Back then, it was broad daylight, with ten kilos of TNT, half of the God Armed Alliance's headquarters was blown up, directly causing a sensation across Chadron. Valentina couldn't help but wonder. Were her subordinates living in such difficult times because the God Armed Alliance had discovered that she was the one who detonated their headquarters? Biddeford. The Felton Family. Leonard knocked on the study room door. "Mr. Felton, Chadron is much more chaotic than in previous years. A lot of fugitives have poured in from the Southeast Area, and even our goods were robbed yesterday. Do you want to take care of it?" William looked at the document in his hand. "Is the Dueling Competition about to begin?" "Yes, there are still ten days left. I'm afraid it will be more lively than in previous years." William closed the document, raised his head, and after a moment, said, "Ask Lewis whether he is going or not." "Got it." ... After Badman walked out of the hotel, he didn't come back. Bruno was worried and had several companions go out to find him. Luckily, nothing happened. After resting for two days at the hotel, Bruno was left penniless to the point of not being able to afford the room fee. Dependent on his long-established connections, Bruno received another task of escorting goods, and he immediately set off with his companions. In the elevator, he ran into a girl. She was somewhat chubby but with flawless skin and pretty features. The composed and relaxed aura she exuded was intriguing, and it made people take a second look. She was the one who inexplicably smiled at him when he checked in two days ago. "If our goods get robbed again this time, our Blackwater Mercenary Group may as well pack up and retire. I can't live in shame in Chadron." "Can you say something auspicious, dude?" At this moment, Badman said, "I'll leave Blackwater after this mission." As soon as the elevator doors opened, Badman was the first one to step out. Valentina stood in the corner of the elevator, watching this group of people leave. Just as the elevator door was about to close, Valentina extended her foot to block the door, and then stepped out of the elevator. The amount of goods was more than predicted, and Bruno's team was understaffed. They couldn't get more people to come over in time, and neither could they hire people nearby due to insufficient funds for remuneration. Everyone had to grit their teeth and go ahead. Fortunately, the distance was not far, and they could reach their destination in an eight hours' drive. For the sake of safety, they decided to drive straight without any rest stops and travel through sparsely populated routes. Seven trucks and only seven of them - one person per vehicle - couldn't even spare any additional manpower. However, despite their caution, things went awry. The car driven by the head of the group, Bruno, suddenly experienced a tire blowout, forcing the convoy to stop. Bruno got out to check the damage, instructing others not to leave their vehicles. They had endured too much this year, reaching a point where they saw threats everywhere. Before Bruno could finish inspecting, twenty-odd mercenaries armed with heavy weapons appeared from the bushes, instantly surrounding them. The sheer difference in strength made it impossible for their seven-man group to resist, as they were forced out of their cars by the threat of guns. Seeing their goods about to be seized once again after a year of suppression, Badman, whose patience had already reached its limit, couldn't stand it anymore. Suddenly striking out, he managed to drag one of the mercenaries attempting to climb into the driver's seat down, landing a heavy punch on him. He quickly followed up with another punch towards the person next to him. Bruno reacted swiftly, reaching out to blindly grab the lengthy gun by his side, shoving one of the mercenaries towards the front. The man stumbled forward and Bruno fiercely kicked him in the lower back. The battle had begun. The scene immediately turned chaotic. The skills of Bruno's group were exceptional among the mercenaries, equivalent to that of the elite forces in the God Armed Alliance. However, it was difficult for them alone to stand against so many. Eventually, Bruno and his group were beaten down. Badman got shot in the leg and was seriously injured. The leader of the opponent mercenaries stepped on Badman's wounded leg, arrogantly proclaiming, "If it wasn't for that damn rule from the God Armed Alliance, I would have blown your brains out." "A bunch of dying trash." In Bruno and his party's reluctance and rage, the others stormed off with their goods, swaggering away. The robbers drove away, laughing and discussing how they would celebrate when they got back. No one noticed that in one of the trucks, there was someone hidden. As the vehicles moved, the truck in the middle suddenly lost control and crashed into the one before it. The driver of the crashed truck cursed and looked back but sight was blocked. After shouting the name of the driver in the rear truck a couple of times and getting no response, he immediately called his companions to get off and check. Just as they got out of the vehicle, a thud was heard. The driver of the rear truck was kicked out of the driver's seat, heavily falling on the ground, raising a cloud of dust... As the mercenary group left, leaving the traces of a fierce battle behind, Bruno, dragging his wounded body, struggled to get up from the ground. Glancing at Badman who was shot, he said to another companion, "You take Badman back. Everyone else, come with me to reclaim our goods." If the goods were taken again, they could no longer afford the compensation. This time, even if it cost them their lives, they had to reclaim the goods. Badman pushed away the hand that was assisting him, his eyes filled with the intent to kill. "I'll go with you." "Now is not the time to show off your guts!" Bruno rebuked angrily. "I might as well gamble my life with them!" Badman was determined to go. Amidst the dispute, they suddenly heard the sound of car engines from far to near. Looking up, they saw several familiar trucks heading their way. Bruno and his group were suddenly on high alert. What on earth were these people planning? Bruno clinched the military knife in his hand. Without waiting for them to come up with an emergency plan, Badman, blinded by rage, was about to rush forward and fight them to the death. He was, however, firmly held back by his companions. As the truck pulled up closer, the passenger-side door opened. The person who jumped out from the truck left Bruno's group, who were ready for combat, dumbfounded. It was that girl. Before they could speculate further, the individual stepping out of the driver's seat caused them to widen their eyes in surprise once more. They saw the boss of the mercenaries who had stepped on Badman earlier, threatening to blow Badman's head off with a bullet. He fell out of the driver's seat, wounded all over. He wasn't the only one. One by one, from the several trucks behind, the people who got off seemed more miserable than the last. The originally arrogant mercenaries were now leaning on each other for support, reappearing in front of Bruno's group with sighs and groans. Staring at this scene, Bruno was dumbstruck. "Why are you dawdling? Start preparing to hit the road." Bruno snapped back to reality, shifting his eyes to the girl who had started talking to him at some point. "You," Bruno's lips moved slightly, and after a few seconds, he was able to ask, "Who are you?" "Why are you here? What about the goods and the wounded? What happened?" "I heard your leader is dead and your Blackwater Mercenary Group is now leaderless. To express my support, well..." Valentina said lightly. While speaking, she casually nodded in the direction of the wounded. Just as Bruno was about to speak, Luke preempted with a question, "What do you mean? Do you want to be our leader?" Raising an eyebrow, Valentina said with a light smile, "Am I not qualified?"
