Blaine drove Ruby back to the camp after they finished their dinner at the bar. It was a long ride. Sitting on the passenger seat, Ruby asked, “Why didn’t I hear you mention about your grandma before?” Blaine let out a faint smile and casted a glance at her. “We haven’t reached the stage of marrying each other previously, right?” The man spoke in a playful and teasing tone. Ruby’s face heated up under the dim light. She bit her lips and said, “Who said I want to marry you? I just agreed to date you.” Blaine nodded his head and said, “Yes. Ruby explained, “Since your father was so strict to you, his wife must be someone who is very gentle and able to understand and tolerate him.” A tinge of sadness flashed across Blaine’s eyes at the mention of his mother. “Although my father and I didn’t have a good relationship when I was young, I still could bear staying with him because my mother was there. However, after my mother passed away, my father and I seldom saw each other and we gradually drifted apart.
