I didn't know how long it took, but eventually, I managed to endure the pain, though I was covered in cold sweat. I hurriedly wrapped the wound again with the same silk scarf, but it still felt irritated and raw.
With no other choice, I rummaged through the first aid kit and found some gauze. I wrapped it around my wrist and sealed it with waterproof tape. After taking a shower, I would put the scarf back on to cover it.
I was relieved Jonathan wasn't coming back tonight. My wound needed some fresh air so it wouldn't get more inflamed.

There was a tall figure sitting at the edge of the bed. As soon as he saw me, he looked up. "Are you done showering?" he asked.
I jumped in fright and nearly slipped. I steadied myself by holding the doorframe and finally recognized Jonathan sitting on the bed
