His New Girlfriend

I took out the bank card, looked at the two salesgirls, and said, "Look at this card, Can I be your client now?" Speaking, I showed the salesgirls the bank card I had just received. The golden word, Brown, spoke for itself. "Mr. Carroll reserved the whole mall for me this time." I fought back with my head high up. Unfortunately, I was petite. The salesgirl wore the same high heels, so they were much taller than me. After a contemptuous snort, the tall salesgirl looked me up and down. "You? Do you want to tell me that Mr. Carroll has too much meat and suddenly wants vegetables?" Speaking, she rearranged herself in another pose to show off her good figure. The salesgirl, who was short in comparison, snickered. "Mr. Carroll came with superstars. Do you imply that you are his new girlfriend? Don't be ridiculous. I know that you just pretend to be a VIP with a bank card. You are a gold digger who loves to impress the netizens with illusions." "We've seen a lot of people like you. Mr. Carroll's new girlfriend. Bah." "Mr. Carroll, your card doesn't work at all," with a frown, I muttered in a low voice. The two salesgirls impatiently pushed me away. "Leave now. Hurry up. We are waiting for Mr. Carroll." Right then, a tall figure protected me from behind. Carroll lifted his long leg and gave the tall salesgirl a hard kick in the stomach. "Ah!" After a scream, the tall salesgirl fell to the ground. The short one ran over to help her colleague up. She raised her head, saw the sinister Carroll, and said in horror, "Mr. Carroll." "How dare you! She is Mrs. Brown." Jason walked over and scolded the salesgirls. "Mrs. Brown?" The two salesgirls looked at me with astonishment. I spread my hands. Then, I strode into the store and walked around. Mr. Carroll followed behind me and asked gently, "Is there anything you like?" "Mr. Carroll." I smiled with embarrassment. How could I answer the question since I hadn't seen the stuff in this store? "They blocked me at the door because they thought that I couldn't afford the clothes here." It sounded like a complaint to arouse sympathy from Carroll. With a chilling glint in his eyes, Carroll said, "Pack up all the clothes." "No, no, no." I waved my hands frantically. "Mr. Carroll, please don't. They look down on me, but I help them to get a bonus. Does it make sense?" I often saw this plot in the soap dramas. I always had one question in my mind, and that was why those characters helped the people who looked down on them. I wasn't such a fool. Carroll took off his bangle and played it in his hand. There came a faint fragrance from his bangle. Carroll rubbed my hair with a faint smile and said, "I didn't know that you were business-minded." "l am not a fool." I stuck out my tongue and pointed to the door. "Why don't we go to another store?" Carroll took my hand without scruples. I said to the two salesgirls, shivering at the door in fear, "Look, Mr. Carroll is Cheuk Restaurant." "Yes, yes, you're right." The salesgirls were no longer so arrogant as before. They became humble. Carroll shoot a cold glance at the two salesgirls and then said to Jason, "Fire them." "Yes." "Mr. Carroll, Mr. Carroll... Sorry, please forgive us..." The tall salesgirl sobbed and almost knelt before Carroll. Jason cut in and warned, "Do you want to work in another city?" Hearing the threat, the tall salesgirl instantly shut up. Then, there came no obstacles for my shopping. All the salesgirls entertained me as if I was their dear mother. At the fifth shop, I was exhausted and collapsed on the sofa. The salesgirls brought a lot of dresses over and recommended them to me. "Mrs. Brown, look at this blue dress! Given your elegance, it suits you well. "And this one, you're so sweet. Pink, yellow, and colors of Macaron fit you." "What do you think of this bag?" "This pair of high heels..." ... I was exhausted, so I looked at Carroll for help. "Mr. Carroll..." With one hand on the armrest of the sofa, Carroll played with the rosewood bracelet with the other one. With his legs crossed, he looked like a fine stature made by God. "Are you tired?" Carroll opened his mouth and sounded affectionate. Instantly, I nodded. "Yes, yes, yes. Exhausted." More than that, I was starved. "Pack all the stuff up." Carroll waved his big hand and pulled me up from the sofa. "Get changed, and we will leave for dinner." "Mr. Carroll, you're an angel!" I threw Carroll a kiss and then followed the salesgirl into the changing room. The salesgirl helped me put on a knee-length black dress with bubble sleeves. "Mrs. Brown, you are hot," The salesgirl zipped the dress for me, looked at me in the mirror, and praised me with admiration. This dress was a good choice. Its black silk shone slightly, so my skin looked fair. My slender legs, exposed, caught attention. "Thank you." The praise like this was new to me, so I thanked her with a blushing face. I walked out of the changing room, and Carroll seemed stunned. "How beautiful!" "Well, shall we go?" Absent-minded, I staggered because of the pair of three-centimeter high heels I wore. Carroll got up, held my waist, and steadied me. "I will treat you to a good dinner." Because of this intimacy, my cheeks turned red, and my mind went blank. I followed Carroll out of the store. "Mr. Carroll, Mr. Carroll." A girl in a red dress ran towards us in high heels. She seemed as happy as a lark that had just fled out of the cage. "Mr. Carroll." The lark stopped before Carroll and held him by the arm. "Mr. Carroll, my brother said that it was a top secret of your reservation of the mall. Don't worry because I will tell nobody about it." The lark had a delicate face. Two dimples appeared on her face when she smiled. The girl had rough eyes and looked lovely. Her intimacy with Carroll discomforted me. Carroll deftly withdrew his arm from the lark. "Owen Rodriguez is long-tounged." "Without him, how would I know that you, whom I miss all the time, were still alive? You don't know that I've been crying over these few days. I've lost weight. Mr. Carroll, where will we have dinner?" The lark once again held Carroll's arm, and Carroll didn't dodge this time. Then, he said in a cold voice, "I am on the way to dinner with my wife." "Your wife?" The lark let go of Carroll and looked at me with vigilance. "Are you the girl sent by the Smith family for the funeral?" What funeral? Didn't Carroll stand here alive? I blinked and forced a sweet smile. "Miss, what funeral? Mr. Carroll is alive, isn't he? You mentioned that you lost weight because of sadness, but why didn't you come as a mourner?"
