This Is a Wolf!

"Enough, enough." I waved my hand. "I don't want to be called a bully!" Carroll pinched my nose dotingly. "Let's go." "Okay. I'm sleepy." At this moment, I felt great.  After a walk of five meters, I looked back and said to Mrs. Gideon, who still knelt on the ground, "Do you know why Komondor couldn't defeat Wolfie?" Mrs. Gideon, who had red eyes and tears on her face, shook her head in a daze. "Because this is a wolf!" After that, I followed Carroll to the elevator without looking back. The Komondor was lucky to survive its provocation against a wolf. There was the law of the jungle.  It was also applied to the confrontation between Karry and Carroll. The arrogant Mrs. Gideon had to lower her head in front of Carroll. Jason's voice came from behind. "Did you see Mr. Carroll just now..." For the first time, I heard one make a threat in such a calm manner. I rested my head on Carroll's arm. "That manager didn't know that the 57th floor is yours!" "There is a change in the information of its owners. Now it's ours." Carroll took the chain from me and pressed the button with the number 57. "So quick?" I was shocked. "I thought Jason was joking!" "He didn't," Carroll denied. "Oh, haha..." I laughed. My laughter was so loud that it scared Wolfie. Wolfie tilted his head and looked at me with questions in his azure eyes. "Are you insane? I plan to send that manager to Africa!" Carroll cleaned his ear. "I'm not angry anymore. Am I not a rich woman now? However, that manager, who bullies the weak and fears the strong, does need some training." I was so excited that I said, "Carroll, I will repay you after I graduate from college.  "I will pay you the money for buying your apartment. I don't want to owe you a favor." "That apartment is worthy of 30 million dollars. " "What?" My excitement came to an abrupt end after Carroll mentioned the price casually.  "That apartment is worthy of 30 million dollars!" Carroll repeated. "Well, well..." I didn't know what to say in an instant.  This apartment was unaffordable to me. "Carroll!" I smiled awkwardly. "I don't want this apartment anymore." "Did anyone tell you that you were very noisy?" Carroll asked, clamping my mouth with his hand. I couldn't say a word for this clamp. "If I loosen my hand, will you be quiet?" Carroll asked. Wide-open eyed, I nodded. I gasped for air after Carroll loosened his clamp on my mouth.  The elevator stopped on the 57th floor. I couldn't help but ask, "Carroll, do you dislike me?" "No." Carroll let go of Wolfie's chain and started to change his shoes. I took off my slippers and muttered, "You do." "According to the plot, you are supposed to seek pleasure with your confidante." "A woman who is beautiful, gentle, virtuous, and considerate." "She is probably a popular actress. When you two pour your hearts out to each other, the paparazzo stealthily take photos of you..." Before I finished my story, Carroll looked at me teasingly. "Is this from the soap dramas again?" "No, a novel I read recently." I showed Carroll the record on my phone. "Well, not bad. Don't read it anymore." Carroll walked to the study. "I have something at hand. Be good and go to sleep now." "Oh. Remember that the confidantes are likely scheming," I whispered behind Carroll. "I don't have confidantes yet." He didn't turn around. "Be careful anyway..." I added. "Noisy. Go to sleep now, or I'll delete that app!" "Don't!" Scared, I hid my phone behind my back. "I will go to sleep now." Leaning against the door frame, Carroll watched me go to my bedroom. When I got up the next day, Carroll had left. However, Jason was still in the apartment. Confused, I asked, "Why didn't go leave with Carroll?" "Mr. Carroll left for some privacy. He told me to take good care of you." Jason took out his phone. "Got it. Poolside parties. It's inconvenient to take me there." Yawning, I sat on the sofa. "No, Mr. Carroll doesn't like stuff like that!" Dingdong! There came a message. Jason invited me into the chatting group open to the proprietors of Sky City. Jason handed me a document and said, "Mr. Carroll promised to make your wish come true. You will know how it feels as a proprietor." Well... I checked the document and found my name on the deed.  The dark gray words were deeply engraved in my mind. As expected, being rich and perfunctoriness were two different things. For the first time, I felt valued by someone.  When I was excited, Jason spoiled my mood by saying, "Okay, next task." "What's it?" I was curious. "To choose a teacher for you." After Jason clapped his hands, more than ten girls in their twenties appeared. The girls were in conservative attire, and most of them wore gold-rimmed glasses. "Madam, ask them whatever you are interested in. Choose an excellent teacher for yourself." Jason put their resumes in front of me. To choose a teacher? With an awkward smile on my face, I looked at the female teachers standing in front of me. "I don't know what to ask." The girl on the left said with a smile, "You may ask about our past, such as the colleges we graduated from and our achievements in teaching. Take it easy." "You're right!" I nodded. I felt oppressed.  Therefore, I couldn't put forward the simplest question in front of these teachers.  After one glance at the girl on the left side, Jason asked, "What's your name?" "Tracy Frank," answered the girl. Jason lowered his head and asked me, "Madam, what do you think of her?" "Good!" Tracy was not bad, and I liked her.  "The others may leave now. Ms. Tracy, please stay here." Speaking, Jason led the other girls out. Tracy didn't stand on ceremony. She sat on the sofa and took out one pile of papers from her bag. "Madam, these are the papers for SAT. Please take a test, so I will know something about your level." "Exam Papers?" I flipped through the pile of papers. "Yes. After this test, I will work out a study plan for you. "We don't have much time left. Costsley University will start the recruitment in one month." Speaking, Tracy took out an old-fashioned calendar from her bag. There was a countdown on it. 29 days.
