Mable was pulled into Blair's arms and seated on his lap. She looked at Blair and gently touched his brows and eyes. "Why do you have such dark circles under your eyes? Did you not get enough rest last night?" Mable had slept soundly last night and had no idea when Blair had woken up. Blair held Mable's hand and kissed it lightly before speaking, "Something came up; I couldn't sleep." Upon hearing this, Mable immediately furrowed her brows. "What happened?" Blair replied, "Rory somehow got hold of information about Zoe and went to Bay Island, probably trying to take her away and—" Before Blair could finish his sentence, Mable interrupted with concern. "Rory went to Bay Island? Is Zoe okay?" "They're fine. Kyle prepared in advance, and the island has strict security measures. Even if Rory managed to get on the island, it wouldn't be easy for him to get close to Zoe." As Blair spoke, his gaze was exuding slight guilt. “However, Rory had bombed the church on Bay Island.” Mable exclaimed, "What?! He blew up the church on Bay Island?" ‘Is he crazy?’ Mable thought. “There were no casualties, right?” Mable asked worriedly. “No.” Blair’s eyes turned cold when he thought about this. Rory was declaring war on him. Mable could not understand why Rory went to find Zoe, and how he even found Zoe’s location. “Rory never does things recklessly. His intentions wouldn’t be only blowing up the church,” Mable said. Blair nodded, agreeing. "I can confirm that Rory intends to take Zoe away." Mable worriedly said, "If that's the case, Zoe must be in great danger." Mable became more worried when she thought about it. "Blair, I'm not at ease. I want to go to Bay Island." Blair immediately responded, "Mabes, it’s better you don’t go. I've already checked that Rory didn't bring too many people. Besides, Bay Island is our territory. It will be tough for Rory to take Zoe. Stay in Richworth, and let us handle this." Blair did not want Mable to take any risks. Given her history with Rory, he feared that she might be subjected to hypnosis again if she came into contact with him. Mable believed that Wilbur was not the type to go back on his word. He would not betray them if he had promised to help keep Zoe's situation a secret. Wilbur replied, "No, it's been a week since I last spoke to him." After a pause, Wilbur's voice had a hint of contemplation. "How did Rory find out about Zoe's situation?" Mable replied, "I don't know." Mable pondered momentarily and said, "Mr. Hammond, if Rory calls you and asks about this, you can say I forced you. He wouldn’t blame you if you told him this." Wilbur let out a cold laugh and said disdainfully, "Even if he finds out that I tricked him, what can he do to me?" Wilbur had no fear of Rory.
