Chapter 1640 Learning to Mix Drinks

Tamara returned home and saw Alex sitting in the living room. She hesitated before deciding to approach her. "Mom, what are you doing?" Alex looked at her with a gentle gaze. "Your grandmother asked us to have dinner with her. I'm preparing some scented tea leaves to help her relax." Tamara watched her deft movements. A new batch of scented tea leaves appeared on the table in no time. Tamara was surprised. "You're really amazing, Mom. Do you have any other secrets I don't know about?" Alex gave her a helpless look. "Do you want to learn all my skills?" Tamara's eyes lit up. "Does that mean you have other skills? Please tell me. What else can you teach me? I want to learn!" "Alright." Alex put down the tools in her hand and organized them. "Due to limited space, I'll teach you one thing for now so you won't get hurt in the future." There was a hint of excitement in Tamara's eyes. "Tell me!" "Follow me." Alex stood up and said to her. Tamara immediately followed her. The two walked through the long corridor until they reached the end of the hallway. Alex then reached out and pressed a secret button on the wall. A moment later, a rumbling sound echoed. Tamara widened her eyes at the scene. "We have a basement?" Alex smiled gently. "It's a wine cellar. I am passionate about wine, so your father built this for me." A trace of envy appeared in Tamara's eyes. "Dad treats you well." Alex simply smiled and didn't say anything. The door opened completely, and a strong aroma of wine wafted in. Tamara's eyes brightened even more. "I will teach you how to mix drinks and identify their taste. After you learn this, you'll be able to identify the type and age of wine by taste and smell alone." Alex walked inside while explaining. Beneath a sunken staircase were rows of wine cabinets filled with a variety of wines. In the center was a rectangular table with some bottles of wine, wine glasses, and a few tools. Tamara looked at everything curiously, including the wines. "So, do I need to start by drinking?" "Yes." Alex nodded. "You need to understand how wine is made and identify its components by taste. First, I'll train your palate. Tammy, once you start learning, there's no turning back." Alex gave her a solemn look. Tamara nodded firmly. "I won't regret it!" ... The car stopped at the entrance of the university. But Margot didn't get out immediately. Instead, she sat in the car and looked toward the campus. It was still an hour before class ended. She didn't know which classroom Benjamin was in. She decided to use her phone to search for information about Nammu Bay. The current her knew nothing about Nammu Bay. They only learned of it because of Kayla. A thought suddenly flashed through Margot's mind, and she remembered James. It wasn't just Kayla who knew about the island. James also knew about Nammu Bay and even controlled the forces there. Margot pursed her lips. It appeared that she needed to advise Tamara to be cautious not only around Elijah but also around James. She thought about that lunatic's final act. He had poisoned Tamara's entire family to threaten Tamara into a marriage with him. James was a crazy bastard. Margot called Tamara's number, but the call never went through. Margot wondered what happened. Margot was puzzled. Just then, a thought suddenly crossed her mind. Tamara might be learning to mix drinks.
