Chapter 1635 A Dream

Benjamin walked over and pushed Margot back into the bathroom. "You should freshen up first. I'll wait for you outside." Margot's heart suddenly raced. She quickly washed her face and came out to find Benjamin about to leave. She immediately reached out and grabbed his hand. "Listen to me." Benjamin suddenly smiled. "Did you dream about our future again?" Margot froze at his words. Benjamin ruffled her hair. "Don't worry. Didn't you tell me about this before? I believe you." How could she forget? She had used her dreams as an excuse to tell him that she knew about their future. She had thought she had given herself away just now. Margot breathed a sigh of relief and smiled. "Yes, I did dream about it. I dreamt that we would live a happy life together in the future." But that happiness wouldn't last long and was as short-lived as a dream. Benjamin's smile deepened. "Yes, we will be. I have to go to school now. I'll be late if I don't leave." "Alright." Margot let go of him and watched him leave. But for some reason, her heart still felt empty. Just as Benjamin sat in the car, his phone rang. He answered, "Hello?" Harris' hesitant voice came through the phone, "Mr. Inkling, I searched all over Londsville, but I couldn't find any place called Pancake Paradise." None? Benjamin furrowed his brows. "Then just buy pancakes from some famous place and have them delivered." "Alright," Harris complied. Benjamin hung up the phone and rested his hand on the steering wheel. After a while, he chuckled helplessly. Was he just looking too much into it? It seemed like she had just been caught up in a dream and hadn't realized what she was saying. He had already told her that he trusted her. Why would he doubt her now? … Twenty minutes later, Margot opened the door and saw Harris standing outside. She hesitated for a moment. Harris handed her the pancakes. "Mr. Inkling asked me to bring these to you." "Thank you." Margot took the pancakes but noticed that they weren't from Pancake Paradise. She let out a small sigh of relief. Fortunately, Pancake Paradise didn't exist yet. If it did, she wouldn't be able to explain herself. After eating the pancakes, Margot went to the hotel. The construction team was truly impressive. In just one day, the abandoned place had been renovated, and the outline of 1999 was already taking shape. Margot was very pleased. She took out her phone to text Tamara. Just then, a car pulled up in front of her. The window rolled down, revealing a very familiar face. "Hello, Ms. Zimmerman. I'm Benjamin's mother. Care for some coffee with me?" Victoria smiled gently. Margot gave her an indifferent look. "Sure." This day would come sooner or later. It was better to face it than to avoid it. Meanwhile, Tamara contacted Sebastian, and they arranged to meet at a café. Tamara arrived outside the private room and grew nervous. She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. "Come in," a deep voice sounded from inside. Tamara pushed open the door and entered the room. She saw Sebastian sitting in a chair with a cold look. He exuded an air of elegance and aloofness. "Hello, Mr. Lynch." Tamara greeted him cautiously. Sebastian frowned at the way she addressed him. He didn't like how Tamara had put a distance between them. However, he quickly regained his composure. They were strangers. It was perfectly normal to address him this way. "Sit," Sebastian said coldly. Tamara took the chair across from him. A waiter came in. "What would you like to have?"
