Cedar was resting already, right?! Isabelle could not sleep, so she continued snacking. She finished more than half of the bag within an hour. It was not that she did not want to finish the remainder. Rather, there was something more entertaining than her snacks. Isabelle mostly stayed in Wu City. Even so, Finland was Zachary’s second home. She stayed in Finland long enough to travel to most places in Finland. Naturally, she met a lot of people during her time there. Thankfully, her mother had a strong team of best friends to help. Usually, Aunt Summer, Aunt Yara, Aunt Sharon, and Aunt Anemone would help her mother. She also had Uncle Lance, who was a world-renowned pianist. He would attend Brother Ralph’s and her birthday yearly and play some piano pieces for them. His performance was like an invaluable gift to them. After all, Uncle Lance would not attend private events unless it was an especially important or prominent performance. “It’s been a long time! Let’s gather for a drink!” Isabelle became excited when her friend invited her to a drink. Caroline was not a controlling mother towards Isabelle as long as her safety and health were assured. She never commented and complained, even if Isabelle went drinking with her friends. Caroline was once Isabelle’s age, and she went through similar experiences. Caroline could not drink anymore due to health reasons. That was why she was incredibly envious of those that could drink. Caroline’s attitude in Isabelle’s upbringing was exactly why Isabelle grew up to be so playful and lively. That was also why Isabelle liked hanging out with friends. Isabelle would not reject her friend’s invitation if there were no essential matters. It was the same even if she did not have her clothes with her. Her clothes were all wet from the ambush earlier. Even though she wore Cedar’s white shirt, she managed to find a way to modify her outfit. She went to the bathroom, where Cedar took a bath earlier. Then, she took his belt and wore it around her waist. The man’s white shirt turned into a dress with personality in that instant, matched with a high-end and cool belt. After that, Isabelle wore slippers and left. She went to the nearby shops and bought a pair of shoes. Then, she took a taxi and went to the agreed bar to meet up. It was crowded with foreigners inside. Isabelle’s friends were foreigners too. There were a total of seven to eight of them, both male and female. They knew each other since they were young, so they were not unfamiliar with each other. However, Isabelle was the only one among them who was underaged. Isabelle walked into the bar and said helplessly, “The guard at the door didn’t allow me to enter earlier. He said that I’m still underaged. I passed him a lot of money before he let me in! Yeah! Chris, why are you here too!” Chris mixed a cocktail as he said, “Because I felt bored. I just saw your messages in the group, so I came to serve you all.” Chris was bored of his life. How boring was it? He felt so bored that he spent all the years and successfully lurked in all of Isabelle’s social group. He was in most of the groups that Isabelle was a part of. He would usually rush to the scene if there were any gatherings. Of course, it was not because he wanted to have fun with those kids. Rather, he felt bored when he was alone since he was still unmarried at such an old age. He wanted to come out to take a breather and to chat with the few kids. He then passed the cocktail he mixed to Isabelle. Isabelle took the cocktail from him. Then, he started chatting with Isabelle. “Your parents lived such a good and happy life, but they left me behind all alone. Lil Lion, I’m going to ask you a question. Do you have any single beautiful ladies around you? Introduce someone to me. I really want to get married!!” Isabelle immediately replied, “Dream on. Everyone I know is the same age as me. They could be your daughter at their age. How can I introduce them to you?” Isabelle paused and emphasized, “Uncle Joshua already told me about how you bullied my Mom in the past. That’s why we are only strangers. However, I’m willing to talk to you since you’ve been so nice to me for so many years, but I can’t introduce a wife to you!” “Tsk tsk. Kid, why are you so vengeful?!”
