Chapter 807 Merciless

Gregory Graham rose from the bed abruptly, released Vickie, and shouted, "Uncle Osborne!" Mr. Osborne immediately walked in. Gregory took a look at the woman that was still sitting on the bed. Her eyes were cold as ice. "Send Ms. Thomas back." "Yes sir." Mr. Osborne sent Vickie Thomas away. Both of them were in a bad mood, so they probably ended on bad terms. If Gregory was angry, how much better could Vickie's mood be? She was clearly in pain when she blurted out those words earlier. It was as if all her frustrations that had been held back for so long were all released at once. Why then did she feel an aching pain in her heart when she saw his wounded face? Vickie raised her hand and held it over her heart. It felt as though a small knife had stabbed her deeply in the heart until her blood had flown out. Her face subconsciously turned pale. On the other hand, after Vickie left, Gregory kicked the sofa beside the bed heavily and just slammed the door and left. He did not leave the chateau but went straight to the lounge he had just been in. At the lounge, Yuliana Lynch was still there. Harold had been standing guard at the door. He did not allow her to leave or anyone else to enter. It was not until he saw Gregory coming this way that he took a step to the side, bowed slightly, and greeted respectfully, "Boss." Gregory's eyes were as dark as ice. If he wanted to kill someone now, the people that saw his look would never suspect that he was joking. He asked in a deep voice, "Where is she?" "In there." Harold seemed to sense his boss’ anger and with a slight twinge, he added, "Crying the whole time." Gregory sneered. Crying? After all her effort to seduce him, his relationship with Vickie was now at an impasse, yet she still had the nerve to cry? He did not say anything, but just kicked the door open and walked in. Inside, Yuliana was curled up on the couch. She was already confused, and the sudden change of events just now had messed up all of her plans. The cold gaze that Gregory had given her had been deeply imprinted on her mind and she was unable to shake it off. What could she do? It seemed like he was truly furious. Could it be that he still would not accept her even after she did that? Was it really because of that woman? As she thought of this, her heart could not help but feel a surge of pleasure again. This was good. That woman had seen them being intimate with her own eyes. That way, even if nothing happened between herself and Gregory, in the eyes of outsiders, their relationship was apparent. As long as she could make another effort to capture Gregory's heart, even if...it was just another superficial act. The rest of the road would be smooth. As she thought about it, she took a deep breath and was contemplating how to approach Gregory, when the door was kicked open with a bang. This sound carried with it absolute anger, which startled Yuliana. She intuitively looked up and saw his tall, well-built figure walking straight in from outside. Her pupils shrank slightly. Although her mind was already made up, she was the one who schemed against Gregory after all, so more or less, she was still a little scared. At this time, Yuliana was already dressed. She had cried earlier, so her face was tear-stained and her eyes were red, which made her look pitiful. She even stood up from the sofa, lowered her head slightly, and called out softly, "Gregory…” Gregory's piercing eyes examined her. In his heart, he was furious, but that anger had somehow transformed into a cold smirk on his face. Yuliana feared this expression of his the most. It was not like a ferocious lion that got angry, but more like a deadly snake that had wrapped itself around one’s throat. With a slight force, it could easily snap one’s neck. In fact, Gregory did want to strangle her. As he considered this, his palm violently grabbed her neck while he yelled harshly at her. "Who allowed you to come running to me and do such a thing? Who permitted you to come near me? Tell me!" Yuliana’s face went white with fright at his reproach. Her neck was pinched so tightly that the suffocating feeling surged up, which caused her to panic. She could barely make a sound. Her voice was so faint that it sounded like it was coming out of her nose. "Gregory, I just love you too much. I...I didn't mean to…” "Ha! Love me?" Gregory's eyes were still icy, and a low sneer spilled out of his throat, like potent poison. The hand that cupped her neck rubbed against her skin when it moved, like a poisonous snake slithering on the ground. He lowered his voice and said, "How much do you love me? How dare you disregard my orders to do something so stupid, thinking that if you stand naked in front of me, I'll be able to touch you? Ha! Who do you think I am? Do you think a wh*re like you who’s been f*cked by so many men has the right to climb into my bed?" These atrocious words caused the blood to drain from her face. She bit her lip and tears gushed out almost instantly as she trembled. "In your eyes, am I...am I really that worthless?" Gregory scoffed. "Am I not telling the truth?" "No! I didn't want those things either." Yuliana knew what he was talking about, but it was precisely because she knew that she felt a great deal of pain and humiliation. "I was just tricked and fell into a trap. What else could I do? It's fine if you don't love me. It's not a problem even if you don't like me. Why do you have to keep bringing this up to humiliate me? You clearly knew...you knew…” She choked and could not continue. Gregory looked at her coldly. That delicate woman, in his hands, was like a small white flower that was bearing the brunt of the storm. Yuliana looked so pitiful and so weak that most people could not help but want to coddle her when they saw her. However, his gaze was as if he saw through her. He saw another woman far away. Her weakness, her reticence, were all well hidden beneath that cold and stubborn surface. When had she ever shown such weakness to him? No, that was not it! She had shown weakness before. When the Vermilion Bird Organization was falling apart. When the group of people she considered her brothers and sisters knelt before him. She had shown weakness then. She cried to him and pleaded that they were the most important people in her life, that she could not just stand by and watch them die no matter what. She begged him to let them go for the sake of their childhood, for the sake of their feelings for each other! As it turned out, he did not concur. He was merciless as usual and killed them all.
