Chapter 806 Cold-Hearted
How could Gregory Graham ever listen to Vickie Thomas?
His face sank and he pushed her out anyway. After all, Vickie was injured and could not fight back. She could not allow herself to fall out of the wheelchair just to oppose him and end up with more injuries. It was simply not worth it.
Therefore, she was forcefully pushed away by him.
Vickie was infuriated and her breathing quickened due to her anger. She gritted her teeth and yelled.
"Gregory Graham! You're a f*cking bastard!"
Gregory was unfazed by the woman’s insults.
He just had a sullen face as he pushed her to the main building. After they got to the lobby, he picked her up from her wheelchair and carried her upstairs to the bedroom.
Vickie was shocked.
She secretly cursed him and struggled.
"Gregory Graham! Why did you bring me here? Let go of me!"
Gregory kept silent as he carried her to the bedroom and slammed the door shut with his foot. Then he went to the bedside and put her down.
When Vickie’s body touched the soft bed beneath her, she felt more anxious.
She could not help but retreat a little and stared at him with a cold, stern look.
"What do you mean by this?"
Gregory replied, "Don't think too much. I just want to find a quiet place to talk to you about what happened earlier."
Vickie heard him say this, and only then did her heart feel a little more settled.
However, she snorted and turned her head to the side.
"I have nothing to say to you."
Gregory narrowed his eyes and snickered.
He suddenly stepped forward and leaned down, with one hand braced beside her shoulder while the other cupped her chin and turned her head to face him.
A low hoarse voice came out from his throat with a hint of coldness and mischief.
"Vickie, are you jealous?"
Vickie was stunned.
She never thought that this man would shamelessly say such words.
Vickie clenched her teeth and said angrily, "You f*cking wish! Who would be jealous over you? I'm not jealous!"
Gregory heard this and did not get angry. Instead, he smiled and probed.
"Oh? Then what were you mad about? Wasn't it because you felt uncomfortable when you saw me and Yuliana together? Hmm?"
Vickie's heart skipped a beat.
There was some astringent dull pain in her chest, but at the same time, she felt that this man was just abominable.
How could he be so obnoxious?
It was obvious that based on their current relationship, there was no use for the word “jealousy”. Vickie thought why should she admit that she could not remain indifferent if she saw him get intimate with other women? Why did he want to force it out of her?
Vickie did not say anything and only glared at him.
Gregory was already satisfied with her actions.
Somewhere in the bottom of his heart, it was like a hidden emotion had started to grow.
He looked at her and said, "I don't have a relationship with her. Just now, it really wasn't like what you saw."
Vickie pursed her lips and sneered.
"Whether you have a relationship with her, or whether what I saw was what it is, it has nothing to do with me! Gregory Graham! Let go of me!"
Gregory frowned.
With a sigh, his fingertips that were gently pinching her chin had quietly slid over her face.
The man's fingers had thin calluses from long years of holding a gun. They slid over the delicate skin on her face and felt incomparably coarse, which made her heart tremble.
Naturally, Vickie’s body stiffened slightly, but she hid it well and it did not show.
Gregory sighed, then slowly explained, "Just now, I was practicing boxing at the dojo. When I came out, I suddenly ran into her and she said she had something to tell me, so I let her stay.
"I didn't expect that only after a few sentences, she stripped down and jumped on me. I swear, I didn't touch her. Not even a finger. Do you believe me?"
Vickie's heart stumbled.
Actually, she did believe him.
After all, Gregory, being in a position of power, did not need to lie to her about such things.
Emotionally, as long as she recalled that intimate and lustful image from earlier, it was difficult for her heart to ignore it.
Nevertheless, Vickie was also a reasonable person.
Thus, this time, she did not get mad but repeated in a deep voice.
"Let go of me first!"
When Gregory noticed that her tone eased up, he did not insist and loosened his grip.
Vickie straightened up and rubbed her chin that he had just pinched.
Then, she looked up at him with cold eyes.
She saw that the man, with his hands in his pockets, was also looking down at her. His gaze was as clear as water, but in its depths hid many feelings that she could not make out.
Vickie said in a low voice, "I want to go back."
Gregory raised his eyebrows.
"Fine. First, say you don't care anymore."
Vickie frowned.
"Don't care about what?"
"What happened just now. I've already explained the details to you. If you don't believe me, you can investigate. There are so many people over at the dojo. Although they’re all my people, not all of them are my trusted men. I know you’ve got some skills in forcing out confessions. I can hand them all over to you and let you question them as you wish."
Vickie paused and only felt the anger in her rising again, then vented it out.
"Gregory Graham! You're just sick!"
After she said that, she did not even care if she was a half-cripple and just wanted to get out of the bed herself.
Gregory's eyes darkened.
He reached out and pressed her back down on the bed.
Vickie sat up with difficulty, but now she was even more annoyed after he just lightly pressed her down again.
"What the hell do you want?"
Gregory was still standing there and looked at her with a calm face.
"Say that you don't care."
Vickie was dumbfounded.
It seemed that this person was not just sick, but sick beyond cure!
In fact, that was just a three-worded sentence.
However, she did not know why she could not just blurt it out. She just felt like something was stuck in her heart, and somehow, she just did not want to follow his wishes.
Vickie just stared at him coldly and sneered.
"What if I refuse to say it?"
"Then don't even think about leaving here today."
Vickie choked in exasperation.
If she could, she would just love to punch him in the face until that annoying face of his swelled up.
She took a deep breath and tried to console herself.
‘Don’t get angry. Don’t get angry. Why should I be affected by this kind of person?’
As she thought of this, she sneered.
"Gregory Graham! Do you know that the more you act like this, the more I feel disgusted? Who do you think you are? Do you think everyone has to care about you, accommodate you, and be jealous and crazy over you? Wake up! I don't give a d*mn! Whether you live or die, who you're with, and what you do...all of it is none of my business! Why should I care about you?"
As soon as she said that, she could distinctly see the change in the man's face.
His handsome face suddenly dulled. Even his eyes were covered with a layer of coldness.
A storm was about to come.
Vickie, however, was not afraid in the least. She tilted her head slightly and stared at him coldly.
A moment later, she heard him say, "Good, very good. Vickie Thomas, you’re the most cold-hearted and heartless person I've ever met!"
