*CORA* It felt as if my heart was hanging in my throat as I stared up at the sky. The sun didn’t feel as warm as before.I looked around, at the strangers coming and going at the door of the church. I suddenly felt helpless as I realized that there was nothing that could make a person completely numb.I wish I could just scream but I didn’t want to draw attention to myself. I had thought I had finally become hard-hearted but hearing these had happened to Tristan and his assistant made me start struggling to breathe. I ran a hand through my hair,not knowing what to do.Two months had passed and my carefree life was about to comd to an end. But was it necessary for me to go back?
