Chapter 51 - The basement in a garage

The basement in a garage Security was tightened in Ontario with cops and guards on the watch. That night, Kelvin and his men, Fabio, Stanley and Oscar were seen at a large garage where cars are fixed and repaired. The garage looks old and abandoned with lots of damaged cars needed to be repaired and are probably abandoned. The garage smells like burnt tyres, diesel and petrol. They all approached a man in his late forties who looked rough, scruffy and dirty. The man, Sam, was a Friend to kelvin. They both engaged in illegal activities until he later decided to work as a mechanic in Ontario in New York. He had agreed to help Kelvin in his mission by helping him with the garage which looked abandoned. But what exactly would they need the garage for?. They both smiled, hugged and shook hands as they saw each other. "Long time Sam!" Kelvin greeted. "Same here boss". Sam calls him a boss because he was a pro in illegal activities. Or should we just say he was a professional In illegal activities. Sam was quite older than Kelvin but he respected him so much. "These are my boys!" Kelvin said to Sam as he faced his three boys or should we say workers. "This is Stanley, this is Fabio and lastly, this is Oscar". Stanley had blond hair with blue eyes and was in his early twenties. He was a year older than Jessica. Fabio had very dark hair and black eyes. He was a Mexican and a man in his late twenties just like Vicky. Oscar had black hair and blue eyes. He was in his early thirties. While, Kelvin had brown shoulder length hair and is in his mid thirties. After they had all introduced themselves. They took a look at the garage. The garage was located in a quiet place which was secluded from the main street. People hardly pass by and people hardly bring cars for repair at the garage. Sam had made so many losses. He had to help Kelvin with his mission so as to get some huge cash. After they've toured the garage, Sam led them to a particular spot in the garage where many damaged cars are jam-packed. "That is the spot to get in" Sam said to Kelvin with a smile and he nodded. They all went and stood in the middle of the jam-packed cars and there was this big round lid-like covering on the floor. "How do we go in?" Oscar asked Sam as he gazed at him. How on earth would there be an underground here with no trace of it. "Easy Oscar, we are right there". Kelvin said to Oscar with a smile. He knew they were quite confused on what was going on. Sam input some pin on a device on the pillar in the garage and the lid-like covering opened, revealing a staircase in it. Kelvin smiled as soon as he saw it while his boys gaped. They all went inside and downwards with the aid of the stairs. It was underground or should we say a basement in an abandoned garage. But what could they need it for? They toured the basement and approached a room. Sam opened the door of the room with a key which was in a bunch. As soon as he opened it, they saw a monitoring station, cables and routers, video recorders and computers. In total it was indeed a CCTV control and monitoring room. Kelvin and Sam are both electricians and had Worked together to fix them in the room. Stanley and the rest had a proper look at the video recorder and the monitoring station. There, they could see all the activities of the cops and know about their plans. That part of the job was done and made easier with the aid of Bob by helping them with fixing a CCTV camera in the Police station. They could also watch what was going on in the streets and outside the garage even if they were not there and this was with the aid of the cameras. Yes I mean the CCTV cameras. Kelvin smiled and shook Sam. The garage was a perfect place for his mission. He looked around the place and smiled when he saw some cages. "Home,sweet home". He said and had a smirk on his face. The place was dark as a tunnel and smelt like burnt tyres and diesel. "The Cops are on the watch for the stalker". Sam said and smiled at Kelvin. "Let them watch as they want, I'm also ready for them". Kelvin said to Sam as he watched the cops intensely on the monitoring station. "Have you gotten any of the girls?" Sam asked Stanley with a grin. "Not yet , still working on that". Kelvin replied to him. Just then, the phone in Kelvin's hand beeped. It wasn't his phone. It was Leslie's. The girl that was stalked that very night after her work at the pharmacy But what was Leslie's phone doing with kelvin?. Kelvin checked the message on her phone. It was a message from a friend of hers. Kelly. He smiled and texted back to Kelly, pretending to be Leslie. "Hi Leslie!" She texted. "Hello Kelly!Long time no see". Kelvin texted Kelly while she was shocked. They still saw each other for the last two weeks. Kelly texted back and reminded Leslie of their important outing next month. Kelvin smirked as soon as he saw the message. "Okay, Good night". He texted Kelly. Kelly found the chat with Leslie that night to be weird. Leslie never tells her goodnight first, she was always willing to chat online with her not minding the time. Kelvin switched off the phone and kept it in his pocket. "Who is that?" Bob asked Kelvin as he turned to face him. "It's Leslie, the lady I stalked last week. I managed to get her phone". Kelvin replied to him. "You've got to be careful kelvin". "Sure, I know what to do". Kelvin answered him with a smirk. "I trust you".
