Chapter 48 - Meet my granny

Meet my granny Stanley had not forgotten his promise to Jessica. He had told her last week Friday that they would go visiting Hamilton county to visit his granny. Hamilton county was a beautiful place in the countryside of New York. Stanley had it all planned up. The woman he paid the last time he made a video call with Jessica to act like his granny when he was with Babara had agreed to help him this time around again. Her name was Mrs. Sally Maud and she was in her late fifties. She was single and had a tattoo on her arm and her breast. She was once married to a man named Max Norman but it turned out her marriage with him never lasted. Max was a drunkard and a gambler. He was so lazy that the only thing he did was gamble and drink every single day. He and Sally never had a child in their seven years of marriage because she was barren. Her womb had been affected and could not carry a child due to frequent abortions in her teenage years. Max ends up getting drunk most nights and beats her often. As we all know, that was termed as domestic violence. Sally worked as a babysitter in their neighborhood and every penny she earned was taken by her husband. He beats her to a pop whenever she refuses to give him her hard earned money since all he used it on was on drugs, gambling and alcohol. Stanley once lived in the same neighborhood with her and yes, she has heard of Stanley as the most handsome dude In that neighborhood, that even her friend had been eyeing him. Stanley had seen Max gamble most times and when he saw him hit Sally, his wife, he had to intervene and save her. Max was later taken to the station and Sally appreciated Stanley's act of concern. Now how does Stanley know her?. Before Stanley met kelvin and decided to work for him to be paid, he had been a gigolo who sleeps with every women including older women in his neighborhood. He was so handsome that even older women desired to sleep with him and pay him some 💰 money, dollar bills. Ever since he saved Sally Maud from her wicked husband, she had been giving him the eye. She opened up and expressed her feelings for Stanley and since then, they had a sexual relationship. What a gigolo!, Too bad Jessica didn't dig in about his past before she dated him. She was still so naive when it comes to dating just like she was with Franklin back then. This time around, Sally had decided to help Stanley out to act as his granny but she refused to be paid as a reward of her help to him. All she asked from him was a night with him and Stanley had agreed. Poor Jessica!, Not only was Stanley a playboy, but also a gigolo. "Thanks Stanley, for fulfilling your promise" Jessica said to him as she clutched him tightly in the car as he drove. "I can't wait to see her" Jessica said happily while Stanley only faked a smile. As they drove for some miles, they finally approached Hamilton county which was In the countryside of New York. Both couples entered a small building with a barn and a farm. The building which was a bungalow was decorated with beautiful colorful flowers on a flower bed. There was a windmill on the green grass and tractors on the farm. "Oh! Welcome lovelies" . Sally said as she stood up from a chair on the porch where she sat. Sanny was dressed like an old woman and she styled her hair in a perm with glasses on her eyes. She still looked quite young and Jessica noticed it. "Hello granny,". Stanley greeted as he gave her a hug and an air kiss and they both winked at each other. "granny,". Stanley said. "Meet Jessica," he said, holding Jessica's hand. "Oh! What a beauty" Sally said as she approached Jessica and gave her a hug. She winked at Stanley behind Jessica while giving her a hug and Stanley nodded. Jessica never suspected a thing. "How are you?, Mrs…." Jessica said and paused as she didn't know what her name was. "Mrs. Sally" Sally replied to her. "You can always call me granny". She said to her with a grin. They all went inside the building and Jessica checked the whole place out. She was always fond of doing that whenever she arrived at a new place. "Come over here Lucy" Sally said to her big fat black cat which ran and jumped on her. "Have a milk" She said as she poured its milk in a bowl. "What of your granddad?" Jessica asked Stanley as they both toured the house. "He's dead, he died when I was ten". Stanley lied. "Wow!, So…so sorry about that". "It's fine". After touring the whole house, Sally called Jessica and they both cooked In the kitchen. Being with Sally was amazing and quite fun because she had a good sense of humour. They made pudding and casserole for dinner which was Jessica's favorite. They discussed as they both cooked that evening and when it was time for dinner, they all ate Together. Jessica and Sally were more of talking than eating, but Stanley wasn't saying a word as he wasn't feeling comfortable with seeing the two of them together. Sally understood why he wasn't saying anything. She knew he wouldn't be comfortable with seeing both of them together. "I must say you look quite young granny" Jessica said to Sally as she sipped her wine. "Yeah! People say that a lot and it seems I have been blessed with that from nature" Sally said to Jessica as she glanced at Stanley who was now eating slowly. "Or what do you feel about that, Stanley?". Sally said to him with a smile. "Yes, yes..erm…indeed you are a young granny". Stanley said and cleared his throat. Jessica smiled and looked down to her tattooed arm and Sally saw her. "Oh this!" Sally said as she pointed to her arm. "I drew this when I was eighteen. I was one bad bitch, you know" Sally said and giggled while Stanley shook his head in embarrassment. "But good thing I changed when I met Stanley's grandfather, Tim" Sally lied and gulped down a spoon of casserole. "So, can you tell me more about Stanley when he was a kid and a teenager since he said he lived with you while growing up". Jessica asked as she placed her chin on her hand on the table. She had stopped eating and was eager to hear what Sally had to say. Stanley coughed and gulped down a glass of water and his eyes met with Sally's. "Well," Sally began as she turned to Jessica. "Stanley was a cute little boy when he was a kid and when he was a teenager, he was a hot handsome dude". Sally said as she faced Stanley. "Isn't it?" She asked him. "Urrrmm..yeah! True". Stanley said with a fake smile. He doesn't want Jessica suspecting a thing but Sally went on and explained further. "He was so hot that girls fought over him". As she said that, Jessica chuckled as she looked at Stanley who was speechless and wasn't smiling. "Also," Sally continued, "He was a hot player and a boxer and always goes to the gym to have a workout". "Wow!!, You never told me you were a boxer Stanley?" Jessica said now turning to him. "Maybe I forgot, cause all that was done in my teenage years". Stanley replied her as he looked at Sally. "So, granny," Jessica began as she faced Sally. "What do you know about his relationship with girls while he was growing up?" Jessica asked and the question met Stanley and Sally unawares. Stanley became uncomfortable and speechless while Sally tried to mouth a word but couldn't find anything to say. "Well, all I know is he dated lots of girls". Sally finally responded. "Look, Jessica" Sally said, holding her hands. "He dated lots of girls in his past but I..I want both of you to be together. I mean, I like you so much Jessica and I would really appreciate it if you would accept to be my daughter-in-law". Sally said emotionally with pretence. "I want to ask you a question Jessica" Sally said as she looked into her beautiful brown eyes. "Go ahead granny". "Do you love my grandson, Stanley?". "Yes, yes I do. I really love Stanley" Jessica said truthfully. Sally saw how sincere she was in her answer. She knew Jessica must have really loved Stanley but too bad he was just a playboy and had never had any serious relationship of any sort with a lady. Sally smiled and turned to Stanley. "Stanley, do you love Jessica?". "Yes granny, I..I do" He replied to her while looking at her in the eyeball. Sally knew it was said from pretence. She knows a lot about Stanley. "Okay if you both say so, then, I am happy for you two and I will be so happy to see you two get married and finally give me great grandchildren". Sally said with a fake smile while Jessica smiled happily from her heart and Stanley remained speechless. To him, the word marriage sounded weird in his ear and he never intended to marry in the nearest future, but to keep flirting around with ladies. Sally stood up to get another bottle of wine in the kitchen while Jessica held Stanley's hand which was on the table. He looked at her and faked a smile. "I love you Stanley, I really do". Jessica said sincerely as she looked into his blue eyes. Stanley knew she loved him with her whole heart but the thing is, does he feel the same way?. He was just on a mission and needed to help Kelvin accomplish his mission. His role was to act as a Trojan horse in his mission by getting close to Jessica to find out some information on Vicky's whereabouts. He said nothing to Jessica but only hugged and pecked her. Sally came to the dining room with a wine bottle and a glass cup and saw them hugging. She felt a little jealous and Stanley could see her expression as she gazed angrily at Jessica whose head was on Stanley's chest. She coughed to get their attention and Jessica freed herself from Stanley. "You guys can do that when you are alone and not In my presence". Sally said and continued. "If not, you will only make me feel jealous because my husband left me for a long time now, and since then, I have no one to cuddle romantically." Sally explained to Jessica who only smiled. "So, I was so desperate to see you in person because I really wanna appreciate you for the gift you sent to me". Jessica began. "What gift?" Sally looked confused. "You sent me a pearl necklace, remember?" "Pearl necklace?, Did I?" Sally asked herself and looked at Stanley who was busy mouthing a word to her behind Jessica. Stanley was trying to tell her to 'play along' and pretend like she actually sent a gift to Jessica "Yes, you gave Stanley to give it to me as a present, have you forgotten?" Jessica asked as she raised her brows and was starting to get confused. Sally grabbed what Stanley was trying to say and played along. "Oh! Yes" Sally exclaimed. "Now I remember, I'm just so forgetful, sorry, I'm getting old so I tend to forget things easily". She said to Jessica. "I forgot to use my memory medicines today, oh! Silly me". Sally added and ended with a sigh in pretence. "Thanks so much for the necklace, I really loved it" Jessica said to Sally. "You are welcome Jessica, anything for you my daughter-in-law to be". She said and Jessica smiled. Jessica loved Sally so much. She enjoyed every moment with her. "I got you a present" Jessica said as she brought out a box containing necklaces, earrings, rings, a black hair dye and an expensive bottle of french perfume. "Oh! Thanks so much Jessica. I love this!" Sally exclaimed as she dragged the box from Jessica's hand. Jessica furrowed her brows slightly and wondered why she acted that way. Sally loved accessories so badly that she stole them In a mall. There was a ring she wore in her hand. It was a ten thousand dollar ring and was stolen by her. That was one of the reasons Max, her divorced husband, disliked her. She spent most of their savings on jewelry and accessories. Max had insisted that they adopt a child since she could not bear a child but she refused and took so much care of her cat, Lucy, like it was a child. No wonder she was shocked when Jessica appreciated her for giving her a pearl necklace as a gift. Sally knows fully well that she has never given anyone an accessory or jewelry as a gift. "This is a bottle of an expensive perfume!, I know, this..this is a famous perfume brand In France" Sally said as she took a good look at the bottle of perfume in her hand. "Exactly!That's the most famous and most expensive branded perfume in France. I ordered them last week and decided to give them as a gift, hope you like it?". Jessica said to her and ended with a question. "What do you mean by 'like it', I love it". Sally exclaimed as she kissed the bottle of perfume and Stanley scratched and shook his head in embarrassment. After having dinner, They all watched a movie together and Jessica and Stanley had a sleepover at Sally's house. The next day, which was in the morning, Jessica and Stanley were preparing to leave. "Oh! Jessie, let me give you a hug one last time" Sally said as she hugged Jessica and gave her an air kiss. She did the same to Stanley and he whispered some things in her ear, but Jessica didn't notice it. "I'll come to visit you at your place tomorrow and then we can have fun as we want". Stanley whispered in Sally's ear. "Okay," "Thanks," he said to her. "You're welcome" She replied to him and stared at Jessica who was busy smiling from afar. Poor Jessica!, She never noticed anything. Stanley winked and smiled at Sally before he turned to face Jessica "Let's go Jessie" He said and gave Jessica a peck on her forehead. They both entered his car and waved to Sally. Sally waved back and watched them speed off. "Oh! Stanley, what a play boy you are!" Sally said to the thin air as she watched the car become indistinct.
