Having resolved his final concern, Wilson felt completely at ease and spared no further thought for Natalie. He then stood up indifferently, drew a tissue from the table, and methodically wiped his hands. His demeanor was one of complete composure as if the disarray surrounding him was of no consequence. Having cleaned his hands, Wilson checked his watch, noting that it was only 11:00 am and he had three hours before his flight at 2:00 pm. He saw no reason to prolong his stay, so he turned to leave. Yet, before he could move further, a sharp, excruciating pain tore through his calf, forcing him to collapse to his knees. His face twisted in agony as he turned his head to see Natalie, who had descended fully into madness, staring right back at him. Natalie withdrew the fruit knife from his calf, causing a gush of blood to spurt out and splatter on her gaunt features. She could smell the blood permeating the air, stirring her already frayed nerves. Her focus remained fixed on Wilson,
